  6. Hello, Does anybody have the BBS A330, is it any good. I love the real aircraft, this one looks good externally, internally...well i've seen worse i've seen better. I know that it's currently in beta, does anybody own it? I know that FSL have said that they will eventually 'do' the entire Airbus series, but given how long the A320 is taking, i wouldn't expect the A330 until the heat death of the universe.
  7. I have the freeware A330-200 for American Airlines off of AVSIM. Reg N290AY Anyways I fly with FS Passengers and When I'm Taxiing and I Change Views The Aircraft Starts bouncing and causes FS Passengers to think i crashed. Any idea why or any fix for this? Thanks for the help.
  8. If anyone is nice enough to give me a link for an AA repaint for the Thomas Ruth A330-200? There is one, apparently the 404 is not found. broken link: http://www.fs-freeware.net/flight-simulator-x/download/52-civil-aircraft/3115-fsx-a330-200-american-airlines.html
  9. Hello all, I've recently started using vasFMC for all of my Airbus twin-engine aircraft models and so far all of my flights were very successful. And now, I'm intending on installing the vasFMC for my Airbus A350. Unfortunately, the vasFMC I have does not have a profile set up specifically for Airbus A350's. Is it possible for me to fly Airbus A350's using the vasFMC panel for that matter? If so, is there a specific profile I can get online for the A350's or should I just use the Airbus A330 profile for the A350's? Thank you for your help, William Song
  10. Hey guys So, the next part of this trip we'll take us from Madrid Barajas Int'l to Gran Canaria Airport in the Canary Islands. We'll be using the Freeware A330-200 from Thomas Ruth. Hope you like them! Some sister ships join us while we check that everything is OK to fly. Taxi to runway 18R Wingflex! Adios Madrid! Climbing to FL380 Cruise altitude Descending into Gran Canarias' 3R Almost there Like a feather  Taxiing to stand. No Heavy gates for this big boy here. Bienvenidos! So, I'm planning on getting my hands on the Blackbox A330, but is it any good? Other thing I can do is to merge the Wilco A330's panel with this Thomas Ruth model. What do you guys recommend? Thanks for watching guys! Things used: Thomas Ruth A330-200 Aerosoft Madrid Barajas SimGiants Freeware Gran Canarias REX and ORBX things FS Global Ultimate Europe & Africa

  12. I post this topic since I currently own only P3D not FSX, neither X-plane. But since 2007 when I play FS2004 for first flight simulator, I have always desperately wanted good A330, closed to PMDG or fslabs a320's quality. I'll happily buy new simulator if there's a good A330 on that simulator even if it's not for P3D. During the time searching about it, I found these A330 variations: JarDesign, RWDesign, BlackBox Simulation. Also I know Aerosoft is developing new a330, and heard about Fslabs are going to develop a330 but it seems not going to happen soon. Which one is the best one? If there are better others, please share with me.
  13. Hello, I have owned the blackbox a330 for a few months now and I'm rather happy with it. In a review that I read they stated that the FPS was good, however I get lower FPS than in the NGX and a lot of stutters. For those with good FPS, what settings do you use on the displays etc? Thanks EmilvK
  14. Hey all! I am a long haul flyer and I have a major question for the Wilco A330/340/380 panels. I love flying for Korean Airlines which operates the A330 as well as the A380. Situation: I takeoff with fully made and correct flight plan from LAX (los Angeles International Airport) enroute to Seoul Incheon International on a Korean A380. I climb the aircraft, cruise, wait, and wait. After a while I go out some where (for a few hours) and the plane magically stopped about 100 NM from where I left it! The flight sim was paused! I got this error on both the 330 and the 380! Is there any fix for it? I fly the 777-3B5ER enroute from Atlanta to Seoul and there is no problems! I am using the JB777 panel for that! No pauses! Why only the wilco? What I have running: PA A380 with wilco a380 panel in place of stock panel. POSKY A330 with wilco A330 panel in place of stock panel. FSX Acceleration w/ service pack 2 Question: Why is the wilco panels causing the plane to pause? What other factors may cause the sim to pause? Thanks VERY much for you time! ~Rohan Patel. I flew Air Canada's A330 from Vancouver to Seoul and still, there is a pause!
  15. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLm6tkKQFtnC7q7mA6aqAjENikT0eScf4J This is just a quick four video series to help people unfamiliar with Black Box or Airbus aircraft to get up and running on the Black Box Widebody aircraft. Hope you enjoy!
  16. I have the Wilco Airbus Volume 1 and 2, and I love the product! The only problem that I have been having is the abruptly high ascent/descent rates with the AP engaged. Is there any way to fix this?
  17. Been working for days on a merge, to get the Aerosoft Airbus (A320/A321) VC and functionality, into the Thomas Ruth freeware A330-200 model. After much pain, I have got results better than I expected. The merge was done by placing the Thomas Ruth A330 model, into the Aerosoft A321 IAE aircraft configuration. This worked far better than doing things the other way around (AS VC into the TR A330 aircraft). Work was needed to reset contact points, and I also reconfigured the fuel capacity - not to exact A330 specs, as this compromized the flight model too much - but I've got a range somewhere in between an A321 and a A330-200. Similarly, using exact A330 weights and payloads was too much of a stretch, so another compromise there, but with some minor tweaking of jet thrust scaling, it's performing really well. I also tweaked the flight tuning, to make the elevator and aileron responses slower and "heavier". Lastly, there was that "A330-200" placard on the left side of the MIP, as you can see in the 2nd screenshot - completely unrealistic, but it just gives more of a sense / reminder that you're flying the A330, despite being in an A321 VC. Next up will be putting a more suitable sound pack in. I know there may be some interest in my sharing what was required to do this, but there are problems with that. Mainly just that I haven't kept a good track of all the changes made to get to the final result! But also, with regards to copyright issues regarding both authors. But I may try to write a guide on how it was done, which I may then be able to share.
  18. I Downloaded an American Airlines A330-200 from avsim. Aircraft works great with one small exception. The strobe lights work but they flash where they aren't supposed to. They flash above the wing instead of where they normally are located. Here is the link to the aircraft i down loaded http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=American+A330&CatID=fs2004acrp&Go=Search I downloaded the aircraft at the top of the page that was added on 2/19/2015 Here are the lights settings in the aircraft config. [LIGHTS] Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.1 = 1, 7.800, 0.000, -5.500, fx_beaconb , light.2 = 1, 0.200, 0.000, 14.500, fx_beaconh , light.3 = 4, 73.000, 0.000, 8.000, fx_vclight , light.4 = 2, -40.200, -93.100, 13.380, Opensky_airbus_strobe , light.5 = 2, -40.200, 93.100, 13.380, Opensky_airbus_strobe , //light.6 = 5, 18.000, 27.000, -4.000, Opensky_wing_light, //light.7 = 5, 19.933, 8.827, -4.368, Opensky_wing_light, //light.8 = 5, 18.000, -27.000, -4.000, Opensky_wing_light, //light.9 = 5, 19.933, -8.827, -5.368, Opensky_wing_light, //light.10 = 5, 19.700, 19.000, -6.000, Opensky_nacelle_refl, //light.11 = 5, 19.700, -19.000, -6.000, Opensky_nacelle_refl, light.12 = 3, -111.900, 0.000, 11.420, Opensky_nav_yellow , light.13 = 2, -111.900, 0.100, 11.300, fx_strobeh , If someone can tell me what i need to change to make the strobe lights flash where they are supposed to that would be amazing. Thanks for the help in advance.
  19. I've been getting into the Black Box Simulations A330 and A340 addon in it's latest version (0.81.5)... The developer has a bit of a history and the addon was mediocre at best in it's earlier versions. But it's pretty damn satisfying right now in P3D V2.5... Here are some shots from random flights. A340-300 Circuit Emirates A330-200 leaving Dubai RNZAF A330-200 MRTT flying Auckland to Christchurch Hope it's not an overload of Airbus .
  20. Resently i took advantage of a 50% discount to buy the A330-A340 package. from CLS. Good deal for the price, but i have some trouble with it. For one i have found the solution myself and i posted it here in just in case someone else is looking for it. The TCAS is working on the A330 but not on the A340.That one turned out to be simply a missing gauge in the panel.cfg for the TCAS logic. Solution. Go to simobjects --> airplanes --> CLS_A340_300 --> panel and make a copy of panel.cfg (just to be save) open panel.cfg in notepad and scroll to the last entry in [Window00] section, in the original file this is, gauge39=CLS_A343_FSX!ICON_SC, 22,1047,24,24 on the next line add gauge40=CLS_FSX_TCAS!dsd_fsx_xml_tcas, 4,41,20,20 or if you fly from the VC scroll to the last line in the [Vcockpit01] section. In the original file this is gauge46=CLS_A343_FSX!Gear Light Nose, 458,412,35,35 on the next line add gauge47=CLS_FSX_TCAS!dsd_fsx_xml_tcas, 4,41,20,20 save and now the TCAS should be working. Be aware that this TCAS is only a simpel version of a real TCAS, there is no Audible warning and no TCAS resolution advisories. Only tested with FSX, but i think it should work on FS9 if it has the same problem. And maybe i am to hastly, but from the managed modes only the heading seems to work propperly. When i engage speed in MM, it just seems to go the MAX speed (around 300 knots) and with altitude it just reset to 0 feet. Is there someone who got it to work like it should ?
