Loki, the Steam Flight community manager, has posed a very interesting news : he proposes the community to submit new aerocahes for the game. The post : https://news.microso...-cache-too.aspx Here is the important part of the information : "In order to create an Aerocache we will need the following information: Name of Aerocache Search hint (to let you use in game bing search) Hint (“On the East coast of X” ect) Real world Latitude (DMS/decimal) Real world Longitude (DMS/decimal) Altitude (meters/feet ok, please call out which you are using) Difficulty; Very Easy, Easy, Medium, Hard, Very Hard Experience point value Screenshot of place you want the Aerocache icon placed Screen shot on in game map of your location Starting Airport, which airport in flight you want to have the search start at. Once we get that info (emailing us at MSFlight@microsoft.com being the best way), I will poke at some stuff on my side and start providing lists of the Aerocaches with a schedule of when they would be running. " I hope that you have good ideas to make the new caches more fun than the one popping in front of our nose  !! One other thing that I did not saw here is that you can freely participate to the last Flight beta directly from your Steam client...

Upon noticing that my GFWL "aerocache of the day" count had decreased by 17 today, I posted this on the Steam forum as a reply to a thread entitled "More aerocache of the day bugs ?" This was my first Steam post ever. quote: I also had my "aerocache of the day" count drop by 17 aerocaches from 45 of 50 to 23 of 50 as this count relates to the GFWL pentacontacache award. I think this new count of 23 of 50 correctly reflects the individual aereocaches that I have scored and correctly deletes the duplicate aerocaches that I previously have scored. Can I get a witness from any MS Flight dev that may read this thread? By the way, thanks for the wonderful game. Keep up the good work. Make it Flight Simulator Eleven when you get the time and budget. It'll sell, as testified to in AVSIM forums. Also, there is a second "XP Grinder" GFWL award that also has a requirement for 500,000 experience points to earn. I've got just over one million and five hundred thousand XP. I have been awarded the first "XP Grinder" GFWL award. Any comment on this second XP Grinder award? Thanks in advance, Bob Dunn in Seattle... close quote.

Hi folks, Just restarted playing MSFlight 3 days ago and really getting back into it now... to the point where I'm trying to buy MSFSX Gold from the marketplace (only 29.95) but will have to wait 'till support fixes an issue with their account stuff. In the meantime, I noticed, that the Aerocache of the day is NOT available, and hasn't been since I restarted. I checked my connection status which is fine (connected to flight servers on the aerocache page) & GFWL. Is anyone else experiencing this? Googling this problem turned up 1 link to here but related to connections problems (which I don't have). thanks in advance... R

I remember seeing pictures of many players hunting the AotD together, and I thought it looked really fun. Is anyone still doing this, because I'd like to experience this at least once before multiplayer shuts down.

Wow! Who would have ever thought of naming and Aerocache "Aerocache"? Very imaginative. The description should put you on this one. Enjoy.

I've found a bunch of new aerocaches in Hawaii after the update. Some of them are shown on the Microsoft Flight website, choose "My Flight" and then "Aerocaches." If you filter by "None" you'll find five there. There must be others because I found one by accident that wasn't shown on the website. None of these are shown on the Aerocache screen in the game.

Hi, I could catch most of the waterfalls aerocaches by flying low, fast and straight in the direction of the aerocache then doing an Immelmann turn ; on the picture linked the aerocache is supposed to be between N°1 and N°2 positions.

Hello all. Are you stummped trying to find the Aerocaches? Would you like to see a map and get directions to where they are? I have created a site called Aerocache.com that has maps and flight path information. It is free to use and you don't have to register. Constructive criticism is appreciated. check it out at Aerocache.com

I have been using the Aerocache Editor in the 1.0.29 Flight Toolkit. As of today, 5 have been submitted. Stonelance has done a great job with this program. I know he has some improvements in mind, but it is very usable as it is. Let's see some more caches from our community members! -Tom
