Hello, I have a question about how may I update the VOR, NDB, Waypoints, etc. for my simulator, P3D v3.4 I have the AIRAC Cycle 1704 and inside I have a lot of files and folders, and I really don't know how to install this. I saw a videotutorial explaining the process for X-Plane 10 and 11, and for those simulators is very easy. You have a RAR file which says xplane10_native_1704.zip and xplane11_native_1704.zip For X-Plane is so easy as uncompress those files in certain folder of the simulator (Xplane 11 or Xplane 10), you use Xplane10_native for X-Plane 10 and xplane11_native for X-Plane 11, and that is all, very easy. However, for Prepar3D I have no idea about how to do this. I see there are a lot of folders inside, and I suspect those folders are for certain aircraft you can purchase... for example I see the zip file jardesign_a320neo_native_1704.zip, and it is clear that file is to provide the AIRAC data cycle 1704 to that particular plane. However, what I want right now is to update the simualtor, that is, the VOR, NDB, waypoints, etc. get updated. I want the default aircrafts be updated, and the default database for all aircrafts, inside P3D v3.4 be updated. How may I do this? I really don't know what file should I run to update the simulator. Your help would be much appreciated! -
Hello, I am trying to install AIRAC 1804 to PMDG 737NGX. I am using Navigraph. It says in the NavData Manager that the AIRAC is 1804. But on Ident on the FMC in aircraft it says it has AIRAC 1108. I tried to enter the path manually under: - Prepar3D/ - Prepar3D/PMDG Both do not work.

Hola Amigos, Esta es la famosa Phenom 100 de Carenado y al momento no encuentro la forma de actualizar su base de datos,gps o sea para la navegacion! aqui les presento una captura de pantalla del panel de navegacion con la informacion necesaria a ver si alguien tiene la solucion y de verdad que se los voy a agradecer muchisimo. Hey fellow pilots. I just installed my 777 in FSX Steam addition and I am trying to update the default AIRAC cycle. I use Navigraph FMS Manager and in the addon mapping I use the PMDG Products all and set the directory to my steamapps/common/fsx/ However, When I install the AIRAC my 777 FMS is still using the old Cycle. I noticed that the following directory is being created on the steam edition while it is not on the boxed edition: <FMCWP> and in it I have the correct cycle. Any idea how to solve this? Hello guys! So I had a Navigraph FMC Subscription, and my last AIRAC I could have was the 1911. I quit flight simming for a while, and recently wanted to try it back. I still have the Navigraph FMC 1911 installer, and I would like to download it on my FS Labs A320. But the problem is, it doens't work... I have no idea why... I run the installer, set the correct paths, but it just doesn't want to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

The PILOT2ATC default 1801 airac cycle does not have valid navdata for my local low-ifr flying (and is un-matchable with the MSFS 2020 Nav-data) I have a navigraph subscription but the navigraph FMS manager does not show PILOT2ATC as an addon that can be updated to the current cycle. Is there another way to update airac cycle in PILOT2ATC ? (I have a registered PILOT2ATC licence). Thankyou in advance. Tony,

I have completely uninstalled P3Dv4.1 and reinstalled. Got My Traffic6 installed per the xml way per Poppet. No crappy ai's. Voxtac completely indexed. Yeah.. now does Voxatc still use the old LevelD navdata or which one? When I get that installed...set up voxatc and hold my breath that I hear ai's lol :) Thanks, Bob M.

Hello everyone. I have recently bought the PMDG 777 for P3D v4. Once installed, I double-checked that the nav data was up-to-date on my plane and sure enough it was. But what was odd about this was when I went to the "IDENT" section, I received the message saying: "NAV DATA OUT OF DATE" This was strange because I looked above the message and it said that I was using the most up to date cycle which is currently 1713 as I am typing this. I also checked the Navdata files in the 777 and that even says that it's on cycle 1713. I find it irritating and I am wondering if there are any solutions to this minor problem? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you! Edward Berkley -
I'm new to P2A and registered my copy choosing the option with NavDataPro 1706 however when P2A is open it still shows "Pilot2ATC 2018 v.2.4.0.6_x64_c Navigraph - AIRAC cycle: 1705". I must say I had originally installed the option with Airac 1705 for the trial period though. Another issue with X-plane, related to AIRAC as well: I'm getting the following message: Note: This fligh plan was saved with a different AIRAC cycle than what is currently loaded in X-Plane. Verify all instrument procedures and airways for currency and accuracy! Currently loaded in X-Plane: 1707 This flight plan saved with 1705 Output/FMS plans/KMIA-KFMY.fms It usually ends up with x-plane locking up. If I get no warning when loading the flight plan, then the flight goes well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. So I have a question regarding FSAerodata. I had been using Hervé Sors updates until recently when I discovered that certain updates break AI and ATC. I literally went from decently busy skies to hardly any traffic at all. i never put it together until I read the FAQ and saw that it reduces AI due to flight plan disruptions. So removing it put a good amount of traffic back up for me. I saw that someone mentioned the FsAerodata but it says ATC updates for new approaches and such. Wouldn't this also break ATC and AI?

I have a issue with the J41 fmc. When I am initializing and choosing waypoints some are found in the database and some are not. Does anyone know how this can be and where I can look to debug this. I have airac 1407 I tried a couple: It can find: KLAX, EDFH, It cannot find: ESSA, EFVA, EFHK, ESNU. Has anyone come across this before?

I post the question here since a T7 flight is usually longer. What happen when we fly through the end of an AIRAC cycle? E.g. current AIRAC 1406 ends on Jun 25 at 0000Z? and at the time while in air, will the FMC auto switch to AIRAC 1407? If that is the case, the FMC would have 2 cycles in her memory right? What happen if a waypoint has changed from 1 cycle to the next? Name may change, actual location may change and sometimes deleted. BTW, how is the database updated in real life? It has to be done every 2 weeks on all fleet aircrafts. Francis Leung

Hello all. First post here... Returning from nearly 30 years of absence from the sim community. subLogic Flight Simulator II for the Apple //e. Yikes! HELP... I downloaded the newest airac data from navigraph for PMDG (PMDG_1204), got it installed... The FMS shows the proper dates but the scratchpad is showing the nav data is not current. I saw a post where someone suggested the fmc_ident.txt file should be changed, but it appears as follows: [ident] NavData=AIRAC-1204 OpProgram=APR05MAY02/12 CoData=EAG-1204 Looks OK to me. Any ideas to make the pesky message disappear? I know it's cosmetic but it makes me wonder whether I have the update properly installed. Thanks. Jeff.

When I select the latest AIRAC (cycle 1905 for now) I get a pop-up window that states that airport information is limited in this mode. I click OK. But the Scenery Library drop down still has AIRAC 1611 as selected (dot). How do I know I am using the current AIRAC? When I select Scenery Library - Show Database files and open cycle_info.txt it shows: AIRAC cycle : 1905 Version : 1 Valid (from/to): 25/APR/2019 - 23/MAY/2019 If this is accurate that it is using 1905 then it would be nice if the dot by the selection would be on. If not, how do I get it to read the current AIRAC? Thanks! Great product. -
Hello all!. I recently updated my AIRAC cycle for my PMDG 747's FMC and was wondering if it also updates FSX's flight planner with the latest information? It's not a huge deal as everything seems to be running okay, I was just wanting to make sure I was as up to date as possible. Hello! I am a long time user of PMDG's MD-11, a beautiful product. I recently re-installed a fresh FSX-SE on my PC, a fresh installation of the MD-11 (I had taken a long FSX break) and updated the AIRAC (cycle 1610 I believe). The issue: the MD-11 flies about a quarter of a mile to the right of the FMC track. The heading is correct and there is no 'hunting' for direction or anything, it is just to the right. This offset is constant in any direction and even after intercepting ILS localizer the plane descends into a place just to the right of the actual runway. This did not happen before updating the AIRAC database for the PMDG FMS. I have not programmed an offset (don't even know how) and the IRS alignment is performed in real time, 10 minutes. I am not running any add-on scenery, the only addons being the MD-11 and FSUIPC. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Dan -
I was wondering whether it is absolutely necessary to subscribe to AIRAC data updates (from Navigraph) if one desires to fly an FMS aircraft (like PMDG 737NGX) on VATSIM? Thank you! Grant -
So I just bought a few credits from Navigraph to update my FMS after reading some old threads here about where to get the updates. I have setup the Navigraph FMS Data Manager. FMS Data Manager did not find the J41 in the scan so I am adding it manually via the "Addons Mapping" /"+Add" My FSX location is correct in the settings, My PMDG folder is selected...? guess that's right. Do I place it: G:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\Navdata And how do I check the FMS to make sure is is now updated? Thanks! Robert Hollis
