Okay so I hope that I am able to have this make sense because this is extremely confusing to explain. So a few weeks ago I downloaded Imaginesims Atlanta scenery for FSX and I had a TON of trouble trying to install it and after awhile I gave it up as a lost cause. So then a couple of days ago I decided that I would try and install it again. So I read through the manuals and scoured the internet and I finally figured out what I had done wrong. After successfully installing it I went up to my FSX tool bar and clicked on "Add-ons" and I found to my horror that everything was gone off of that tab, Couatl, GSX, Addon Manager, Ultimate Traffic 2, etc. The only thing that remained was something called "FSUIPC." I wondered if this would affect my game and it sure did, a lot. So I went to one of my installed sceneries and found out that all the buildings were missing, and the same thing for all the addon airports that used Couatl. It has happened to me before so I was thinking that I'd be able to fix the problem. So I also checked to see if my addon planes were also fine. I loaded up my Quality wings 757 only to find out that all the panels are missing, and outside the airplane some of the landing gears were missing and the flaps were down with the spoilers up. I loaded up my PMDG 737 and the same thing happened (except that there was nothing wrong with the outside of the plane). I am really at a loss here, I have no idea what to do and I don't want to mess with anything to mess it up further. Any help is appreciated! hello so some times at the middle of the flight the fsx screen will go black ! the fsx is working fine and when i increase thrust i hear engine sound rising... i use fsx in window mode. specs: Samsung S20C150 LED 20" Intel Core I5 3470 Nvidia Geforce 630 2gig 8GB 1600BUS RAM IMAGE:

I have the problem with T7 as follow: after saving an flight by fsx the T7 is missing completly - the screen will be black. You can hear all of the T7 or/and FSX but you see flickery only. The second i do uninstall acceleration pack from the windows remote and will reinstall i get this problems right now. The T7 missing complety with no black screen (in full screen) and the T7 is missing the wings. Please could you give me some help??!

A few days ago, i was having a problem with my 737NGX where the 2D panel, is nearly nose down, i don't use it often, but my view is obstructed if i have to use it, i decided to tweak the .CFG to see if this would work, then went to sleep, when i wake up the next morning to do a flight, the FSX interface will open however when i have the plane, airport and time set and click "FLY NOW" the loading bar appears on my desktop and when complete nothing loads, no aircraft all i see is my desktop. This happens on all large airliners including default from microsoft but some small GA work, i don't know how to fix this and windowed mode isn't available because FSX technically isn't open, then the sim will crash, i need a Fix!!! HELP!!! Fabian

Hi guys I read every topic about missing button. I done every step so far but still is not working. I want love the product but: - no charts or procedure in Europe and data base is from 2016. New one doesn't work. I got black screen. - ok then if I use Little Nav I can create and if needed modify, but no because there is no import button. If I can I can copy everything from other similar topics what I have done so far. My weekend is nearly done and I was so looking forward to fly with my 50$ new avionics but instead I spent hours around 13 so far to resolve this. Reinstalling at least 30 times with different data base. What I really don't get is how button can disappear. Grayed out yes but gone??? I'm that close to ask for refund because this is not what I'm expecting from product that expensive. I also watch couple tutorials and read on the website about this product. Only after I bought it I discovered EU nope and no weather which suck full time. Replacing default in KA 350 Airfoilabs but loosing weather report. Please guys tell me what to do Manual is pointless done that.

I just purchased the Gtn750 and installed it. The Garmin Trainer works fine, but the 750 shows a black screen. I installed it into an AFM Mooney Ovation II that was already set up for the 750. When I was installing, I got an error message "could not move file rxpGtnSim32.dll. I tried various times and thinking it might have had a problem with my antivirus program, I turned that off and tried again. The file error still happened. I typed Ignore and went on with the installation, but of course I get a black screen. Could you send me that file and I'll drop it into it's place? Thanks...

The rxp 750 screen turned black after I updated my system, I've tried reinstalling the plugin and the garmin trainer but still no hope. Not sure why but after uninstalling and reinstalling FSX, DX10 fixer no longer works. Was working fine yesterday until I had to uninstall flightsim. Today I reinstalled FSX Steam and tried using the controller, except every time I try to switch on DX10 Fixer, my fullscreen or windowed screen is completely black.. I need help!

Hi, I have a problem with my FSX. If I run it in DirectX 9 mode, I often see the desktop in loading screen (looks like here: http://www.bilder-hochladen.net/files/ktcf-4-a87f-png.html). Then, if loading is finished, nothing appears. If I press Alt + Enter, I get a black screen, but I can open the menu and hear the sound. Just sometimes it works, but then it crashes if i try to open the menu or save the game. In DirectX 10 mode everything starts, but I have artifacts and not every addon works. I tried reinstalling and repairing FSX, uninstalling all addons, download DirectX again and install it. dxdiag says that everything with DirectX is ok, and every other game works. Hi, I know it's a pretty beaten up topic but after reading about it for days I couldn't make heads or tails. My system is mediocre: Core2Duo and a GT 520. Yet I'm happy with it and can get 50+ FPS with default aircraft and very high settings (AI traffic always off because I fly 99% online). FPS goes down to some 20 with complex aircraft and/or busy areas but I'm happy with that as well. I can see it's the CPU bottlenecking since one core is always maxed while the GPU is at ~50% capacity. When it gets hairy (bad weather etc.) the GPU goes up to some 70 or 80% with no FPS impact. So life is good. I have two monitors and the way I've been playing is FSX windowed on the main (24") with FSInn and other stuff like charts and flight plan on the second screen (17"). Works like a charm and no performance impact whatsoever over running with only 1 monitor. However, I started a few days ago fiddling with having 2D panel windows on the other monitor (like a FMC). At some point I even hooked a third monitor over the network, thinking about getting the overhead panel there. The networked monitor works fine with every software except FSX. If I'm running in windowed mode: I undock any window (say FMC) and immediately lose a ton of performance. Like, from 20FPS (complex aircraft, busy area) it drops to 13. If I undock another one (say overhead), it immediately drops to 8FPS or less. Unplayable. (on a side note, is it possible to get rid of the blue bar and frame out of an undocked window?). If I'm running in full screen, the second monitor is always black. Even if I drag a FS window to that monitor, it's still black. Nothing ever happens. I'd be very happy running both monitors full screen and then having my charts etc. on a separate laptop. I don't really need to alt-tab for anything during flight so full screen would suit my needs if it worked. Sorry to post asking help on a beaten subject, but like said I've been reading and searching it for days. I've seen people can use multiple monitors when on full screen but I can't see what I'm doing wrong/different. Many thanks. edit: just already addressing first questions. Win XP 32 bit. Latest video drivers. FSX with SP2 (no acceleration). I've read and ran every tweak I could find on the web over the last few months, although most of them didn't work. Even the mighty highmem=1 causes problems on my system, so the fsx.cfg is pretty much the default.

I've been having trouble recently with the 737 and 777 when attempting to play online. Both aircraft load up and run perfectly fine in free flight but when I load up the aircraft and attempt to fly online my displays stay black and nothing is clickable, let alone functional. I am running the aircraft on the Steam Edition of FSX. As I recall they had worked fine at one point but for whatever reason, when I attempted to fly the last few days the aircraft do not properly load in multiplayer. It looks like it tries to initialize upon starting up but nothing happens. Is it just me that has a case of misfortune or am I missing something? I have done a reinstall of the 737 but that did not fix anything, and I have all the SDK's installed so I ruled that out as well.

Hello All I've encountered an issue I've never seen before in FSX. I go to the menu bar, instruments dropdown and select an instrument, such as Reality XP, ASN weather gauge or an A2A mini control panel. The gauges appear. But when I click on the gauges to move them, the entire screen goes black for a few seconds and then comes back on, with no subsequent problems with the instruments. It doesn't happen with all instrument panels and sometimes does not occur at all. The sim runs fine, but it's very irritating to have blackouts with new instrument windows. I have W7 Ultimate and have inserted the .dll file to correct menu bar crashes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Guys,recently I've purchased the Steve directx 10 fixer,it was amazing at the beginning,the aa has reduce 99% of shimmering.But I am currently experiencing some issue and it is when I start my sim,it shows black screen with the mouse pointer,the aircraft's engines are running but everything's just black.When I switch to dx9 using the Steve dx10 fixer,everything become normal again.Could anyone teach me how to fix this?Thank You

Hi All, I have been stopping myself to post a message in the forum hoping I could do something about the issue by myself but I have not managed to do that. So here I am ! Here are my specs : I7 930 overclocked to 4ghz. 12GB ram GTX 480 (Asus). ASUS P6TX58 My problem comes from ENB Series and/or FPS limiter. I can use both of them without any issue until the end of the flight when I access the menu (replay, map, end of flight etc..). The screen goes black, I can still hear everything, the computer is still responsive. I can still end the flight by pressing escape, the dialog appears. I have been looking for ages for a solution and tried pretty much everything I could find (Alt + enter, pressing the windows button, alt + tab etc..) and none of them worked so I resigned and deactived ENB and FPS limiter but it does not look as nice. Not sure what to do anymore and I start to believe that it's a hardware problem. I'd love to get some help ! Thank you. Sylvain.
