Hello, some days ago I installed all PMDG v4 aircrafts new on my laptop. Scince this, the sim doesn't start anymore... It shows the main picture of P3D but when it tries to open the main menu, the picture is gone and there is nothing. The Task Manager tells me, the sim, SODE and courtal are running but it isn't shown in the Task Line too! I've reinstalled PMDG and AS16, I've even already reinstalled my P3D and the same problem... Under troubleshooting it shows me "Failed to connect". Please help me! Win 10 i7-5700HQ SSD128G GTX970

Hey! I yesterday buy a box version of PMDG 737 NGX. I started install. There was no activation window. I saw ,, Instalation successly complete'' . When i run FSX (Steam Edition) and select the aircraft. The aircraft was completly freezed. I coudn't click anythink. Help me guys! My computer: Windows 8.1 FSX Steam Edition

Every time i try to view my replays, or try to access my Add-on options, i get a black screen. However When i press the ESC key i can see the Escape options only. When i press Escape again it just right back to the black screen. If i continue to press the escape key i can sometimes see the graphical environment, however it is very distorted. Any help with this issue would be really appreciated. Thanks

Hi, as the title says, my screens go black from time to time. I might do a full flight without a single problem. But there are some flights in which right after takeoff, say 2 or 3 minutes after departure, PFD and ND go black, but I can still use the FMC. Thanks,

Hello everybody, I decided to give FSX a try again because of the pmdg 777, DX10 fixer, REX and all the other high quality addons. Also got a Nvidia 680 so i can use the inspector now! So I did a clean install with acceleration. I then followed the guide found on Avsim. Added a couple tweaks, set up nvidia inspector, and did the DX10 fix. My FPS is amazing, BUT there is yet again another problem with FSX! There are black squares everywhere over my scenery! I think this has to do with DX10, but ill post the screens below and let you have a look. Thanks!

Hello! I have been using the PMDG NGX flawlessly for the past couple months. Today, I went to do a flight. I found all the gauges and screens black. Also, the levers and knobs don't move. It says I have full flaps and throttle when I can control it manually. When I do this though, the levers don't move. The control yoke also it stuck all the way to the left even though I can control it myself. Also, the spoilers and flaps I can tell make the aircraft slow down, but it has no visual effect. If anyone could point me in the right direction to fix the problem or it may even be a simple fix, that would be great! Thanks! Will

Hi, I decided to remove Reshade's annoying popup by removing the d3d (or something like that .dll file). However, I also accidently deleted other .dll files that start with a "d" or anything near them. Now when I turn on boom, the aircraft startup screen tuns back and if you load it with bloom, it loads, but there is no aircraft. Another problem is that when I do turn off bloom (I use DX10 with fixer), the ground textures have turned into water and all the objects just floating above it. What's going on? Which file did I delete and how do I fix this? Can someone please take a screenshot of their main FSX folder around the .dll files starting with "d"? Here are 2 screenshots of my main FSX folder:

Hello again.. So I've now got another problem with P3D, a few days ago when I looked for an outside view when I was in cruise flying, instead of having normal contrails I had these weird black squares as P3D couldn't find any textures for the contrails, I've read some other posts about this and thought it might be because I was missing some files in my effects folder, so I checked for the smoke fx and they were all there.. I even got to the point where I installed FSX again and tried to copy the files from there though without any luck. I've just tried to repair my P3D still with no luck, i'm really clueless right now about what to do, but I can still fly with it, it is just really annoying. This also happens if I get a fire on my engines or as I said when I have contrails. I thought it had something to do with fsfx preciptfx but it didn't (I have fsfx preciptfx all the immersion packs for the 777, a320 737 ngx. I don't remember uninstalling any addon that were designed for FSX the last couple of days, although I may perhaps forgot something. Best regards Morten Thanks

Hi people, I encountered a problem with the reason of the problem but I don't know how to fix it. Title tells the problem. I tested without the normal panel.cfg which fs2crew not installed: FSPS X worked. And i made a ditch landing It's fun. And i tested both installed: It didn't work. Fs2crew works perfect in this situation. But when I start FSPS X. A black rectangle appears instead of the normal blue mini-display with icons even manifest dialog is disabled. I really want to fly with these addons. Help me please :C

Hi guys. I have been having this problem lately especially when i load up high density addon sceneries such Aerosoft or Orbx. Aircrafts that i use are the common payware ones like PMDG, IFLY, Captain Sim and Quality Wings. So the scenario is that after loading is completed, the VC textures becomes all black. Sometimes it loads ok but when i changed views i.e VC to locked spot to VC again - the VC textures becomes black and then it will stay that way even when i load up default sceneries. I have minimized the scenery sliders thinking its a memory issue but its still happening. I used to have OOM issues big time but since i have installed the 3gb fix, its all gone but then this issue with the black textures came up. My interest in FSX has dwindled because of the OOM issues but it has now rekindled because of the 3gb fix. But i wonder if thats the cause of the black VC textures. Below i have included my pc specs (yes i know, its a dinosaur..Hahaha) my boot.ini where i put my 3gb fix and my FSX cfg file. Hope you guys can help. Thanks. It's not the fact that Blackbox is releasing an unfinished product for us to buy with a promise of finishing it that disturbs me, it's the fact that you're review was so good in pointing out their flaws that disturbs me. No pax or fuel loader? Even Wilco has one. No cold or dark mode? "FS9 like" VC? No thanks. I'll wait for the FSLabs machine. If it's anything like their concord people rave about it will be a thing of beauty. Thank you, Sir for the great review.

Hello Everyone, FSX scenery is now nothing but water or is entirely black. Autogen seems to be unchanged. I have reinstalled, replaced the scenery.cfg file with the one from AppData, and run the SceneryConfigEditor application (assuming I ran it correctly). Nothing has changed. I reinstalled in the first place because I was having the FSX CTD after Repair issue. I uploaded some pictures, but they are reduced quality to meet the size requirements.Thank you for your help

Glass display panels in cockpit go black after a while. Using P3D, have latest GeForce drivers installed. Does anybody know why this is happening?

Hello! I have been using the NGX flawlessly for over two months now. Just now, I am having strange problems. The screens are black and gauges too. Also the control yoke is stuck all the way left visually, I still have manual control. The throttle is also full throttle, but I can control it manually, but it doesn't move. If anyone could help or lead me in the right direction would be awesome. Thanks! Will

Hello! I just bought the 64bit version of the plane. But when I load it in to the sim all panels are black and I can't click on any button. The install and registration went all fine. can someone please help? Thanks, Max

some aircraft models would show black squares of smoke momentarily on touchdown which rapidly disappears, then the white smokes appear as normal (as shown below) this doesn't happen when I turn off DX10, but also doesn't happen on all aircraft models although DX10 was enabled

Hi. After i did some flights with the pmdg 737 ngx i get this error. The scenery load extremely low (some buildings are black/runway and no runway markings until few minutes after) After loading, the cockpit stands with black parts for ex the knobs, fmc keys, etc.. i can see the pfd, fms and ap digits. With the same cfg i get about 8 fps (before it was about 28 fps) I dont remember changing or install/uninstall anything. I have tried : To move prepar3d.cfg, dll.xml and exe.xml (program data and roaming directories), both Prepar3d_Default.fxml and .wx in the local directory, scenery.cfg. This happens with all planes and all airports i have tried. For 1 sec i can see sometimes the entire plane (f22) then black parts again, i suppouse it is not a texture issue. I have update p3d to the last version without working. Any ideas? I have update nvidia drivers , maybe is it the problem or windows 10 files updates? Please help, thanks.

If I fly with the PMDG 737-800 (P3D version) then all displays are sometimes black. Another time then the both FMC's completely stuck and the displays works correct. Another time, everything works fine. Is this a known problem? Martien Roelofs

Lately, especially while on the ground, or taking off or landing, blocks of ground textures seem to flash black for a split second. Sometimes it's just one little square, other times it's a large are (about half this size of an international airport). This happens with both ground and water textures. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?Thanks,boeing247

Hi, I recently brought fs9 and installed it on my laptop. I then went to: http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com/ and it told me that my screen res was 1366 x 768. I then selected 1366 x 768 x 32 on flight simulator and the UI turns into a really small box centered in the middle of the screen with a big black border around it. Thanks for any help, Marcus
