Dear Avsim forum members; I am looking to purchase a short 35-40 minute video clip of a specific flight leg on MSFS (2020 version if possible). Originally, I was going to just purchase MSFS 2020 myself until I learned that my laptop does not have the recommended spec for running it. Rather than risk it MAYBE being sufficient, I thought maybe someone could simply make the flight him/herself and sell to me. I'm an ex-military pilot and ATPL but trying to put together a clip of a unique route/leg which I can show to some investors to promote a new business venture. The route is pretty simple really and can provide more details upon request but just wanted to see if this may be possible. Not sure what format video MSFS would produce but hopefully one that can easily be played back on a standard Windows 10 laptop. If possible, I can just make an online transfer to provide payment. Hello, First - I've submitted a support ticket on this topic to Carenado and we've been trouble shooting for a week or so... just wanted to see if anyone else had solved this: I've noticed that in the 2.0 version of the C182T as well as my other Carenado G1000 planes when I hit flight plan button nothing happens and the "CLR" button and the "ENT" button do not work. Here is a video that I submitted to Carenado that shows the problem. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IogSEYOUhw&feature=youtu.be When I create a flight plan in FSX the functionality returns and I'm able to edit an existing flight plan but I can not create a new one in the sim. Anyone have this issue or know what could be causing it? -
Hello Pilots & Carenado Experts! I own amongst to other aircrafts, the fabulous Carenado F406 Caravan II. It is a very fine aircraft and my favorite plane. Furthermore, I bought the Flight1 GTN 750 and have it successful integrated (F1GTN750F406II.exe) into the F406. Everything is working fine, SimStarter NG, ASN, the F406 including the GTN 750 and all my fantastic sceneries and tools but ... ... the included Weather Radar of the F406 does not work! I can press every button, turn the controller, especially to the ON Position, but the display remains blank. The device is definitely without function! There is nothing that I have changed to the plane, except the GTN 750 integration. By the way, I only fly with my Oculus Rift DK2, so I use only the VC and no 2D gauges! Now to my Questions: 1. Is there really a full weather Radar integrated or is it only compatible and I have to/must buy this WR tool? 2. Is there someone else with this problem? 3. Is there a solution to get the device run? I use for example the following Addons/Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64Bit AMD FX8370 MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GD5T OC (newest driver) 16 GByte RAM FSX Steam Edition (everything on a 500GB SSD) Carenado F406 Caravan II Active Sky Next (via Steam) Flight1 GTN 750 SimStarterNG FlyInside (for my Oculus Rift DK2) ..and much more I dont use DirectX 10, only DirectX9 settings (because the Rift DK2). I have a zipped File with some INI´s and CFG´s but I dont know, how I could upload it inside this thread? I hope someone can/would help me! Flying the Caravan around Fiji area, there are airports that have no published procedures. In LittleNavmap you can create a custom approach from a certain distance out & altitude. It creates a waypoint & this can be inserted into the flight plan. This will show on the flight plan & the A/C will fly the LNAV legs. There is no VNAV info avail. Can a VNAV be programmed into the G1000Nxi to give a TOD & descend to the created waypoint so it will fly the VNAV as well as the LNAV approach? -
Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place... I have both versions of Carenado's Caravan. The original model plus CargoMaster expansion seems to run perfectly fine, whereas the EX HD version doesn't. Whenever I load the EX HD Caravan into FSX, within a few minutes (3-5 minutes at the most) the sound freezes, Win 7 crashes and I get a blue screen. Every single time. This does not occur with any other installed add-on aircraft, only with the C-208 EX HD. My FSX PC is brand new, and seems powerful enough that it shouldn't be the issue - Win 7 Pro (64 bit), 8GB RAM, GTX 770 (2GB RAM), Intel® Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz (NO OC), 1TB HDD. UAC off. FSX Gold with Acceleration (installed) . Active internet connection, FSUIPC installed. Orbx FTX Global and FTX England. I'm very new to FSX, so I'm presuming it's a case of operator error and that I'm doing something wrong, though I have followed the instructions in the Recommended Settings document that came with the aircraft. Hi there fellow simmers! If you check my specs you can see i have a rather indecent Rig for fsx (a laptop with an ATI card (!)) So I have embarked on a quest for lightest FSX possible. I am currently tacklin' 2 hogs: Carenado C208 Grand Caravan and PMDG JetStream J41. All i want is to make the textures (outside and Virtual cockpit) more FPS-friendly. Truth is, I do not have any texture-managing knowledge. How should I start? Anybody can hand over some clues? I'm also looking for some light clouds, but that should go in another thread, maybe. Hi! I just bought a Carenado Cessna Caravan for FS2004, and its lovely, butIi'm having an issue with installing liveries. When I download a livery and name it Blue Excutive and replace the old one, but when i try to start the caravan in sim, it crashes. What's the problem?

Just on a quick flight from Manila to the Calapan Community 67nm south. Forecast was overcast with low cloud coverage so I didn't expect much. I was wrong! Even overcast conditions can look gorgeous when the light is right. Just wanted to share it, what do you think? '

Just happend to check their site and its out. Very nicley done! I cant spend much time with it, because I have to get ready for work, But I managed to get out a few shots. One interesting (yet creepy) feature I saw was the pilots, always look at the camera while you pan around the aircraft. Sort of like a painting where the eyes are always looking at you when your in the room. Once the plane is airborne, their too busy flying the plane to bother LOL. Rob

Hello all, Does anyone have any recent opinions/reviews of the C208? I'm interested in getting it during the Carenado sale but I recall hearing some pretty mixed reviews (with some significant bugs) when it was first released. I'm probably looking at it for FS9. Thanks!
