Hi all! I have a quick question regarding Chaseplane which i cannot seem to find an answer for: Does CP work correctly when doing the walkaround on the A2A Cessna 172? I am currently using Ezdok, and have seen a lot of information on CP to make me consider switching (the main reason being that ezdok does not work correctly when doing the walkaround, the camera views are messed up). Everything else i have heard makes me want to jump ship, but if CP does not work correctly when doing the walkaround then there is less reason to switch. Thank you for your time.

Hello, I just bought chaseplane after seeing all these incredible videos aboiut how good it is etc... So anyways I bought it together with PrecipitFx and that worked like perfectly. Then I tried to start Chaseplane (in sim out sim, tried everything) and it doesn't even open like in any way. I have FS UIPC installed and I'm running on the P3D V3.4.22.19868 with Windows 10. Even the Chaseplane crashlog didn't even generate anything. Hello guys, I just got chase plane maybe 2 weeks ago, very cool program and thanks for this!! now I have a simple question, when I'm setting up my inside views I been decreasing the view to 0.60 or 0.70 depending on the aircraft since if I don't do this the cockpit will not look to real, now for the outside im using mostly 1.00, can anybody share what's maybe the most realist view compared to reality? I hope im explaining properly but when I say increase or decrease im referring to the measures that show on the top right of the screen, not sure how to call this. Thanks for any help.

Hi I want to know if it's possible to run chaseplane on a networked PC, as I enjoy runing FSX in full screen mode. Also will the licence cover a networked PC. Thanks

I already have Ezdok installed. If I install Chase Plane without removing Ezdok, do I just do a global disable on Ezdok to let Chase Plane use control assignments? Can I switch back and forth between Ezdok and Chase Plane by global disable of one and enable of the other? My objective is to keep the option to go back and forth as needed. Thanks

Good Evening, First I'd like to say what a great product ChasePlane is even in an Alpha state! I have the latest update (v0.1.37) with the revamping of the keyboard bindings and I went to remap presets and noticed some significant (to me) challenges. When assigning key bindings there is no longer a separate difference between the L SHIFT and R SHIFT keys. This was a very versatile option for setting interior VC views and then interfacing them with the Logitech G13 providing many different key combinations. When now assigning SHIFT and Numeric Keypad Keys they appear to display as their control names rather than the numbers. For example L SHIFT+5 (old) = SHIFT+CLEAR (new), L SHIFT+3 (old) = SHIFT+LEFT and L SHIFT+1 (old) = SHIFT+END (new). Thus reduces the versatility of key options greatly from the previous version. Please have a look and provide thoughts so we can discuss. Thanks, John

Just installed ChasePlane and set various keyboard and button commands. After opening FSX-SE I can open the ChasePlane on-screen menu using mouse button. The problem is the menu only shows "On-Board" and "Reset Camera" in color with the other items such as "New Camera" and "Open ChasePlane" as greyed out. If I do click on "On-Board" nothing seems to happen. Also none of my programmed keys or buttons do anything. Would appreciate help. Flying Clive

Hi guys! I recently got chaseplane... I am very impressed and happy to say it is money well spent. I have issues with the Aerosoft Airbus and was reading the topic regarding aerosoft issues. My issue is that if I am in internal view the view would revert to main panel glareshield. This meant that all my views were shifted to the right and misaligned. I would go to the cockpit view (chaseplane) and the views would fit. If I switch to external view and revert back or if I open another window it would revert back to main panel glareshield and force me to go in the menu bar and change it back. It was odd as sometimes I would have this issue and sometimes it would stay in cockpit views. After looking at the aircraft cfgs I have found the problem. In all the CFM Aircraft the CFG looks like this: _______ InitialPbh = 14.5, -0, 0 Hotkeyselect = 1 _______ In all the IAE Aircraft it is: _______ InitialPbh = 14.5, -0, 0 // (Disabled by ChasePlane)Hotkeyselect = 1 _______ This means that for every model A318, 19, 20, 21 Chaseplane only fixes only half of the views. Therefore if you fly say an IAE and align your views with the normal COCKPIT VIEW (CHASEPLANE) then fly an CFM Variant then the default view will be MAIN PANEL GLARESHIELD and your views will be misaligned. I think this will help a lot of people and can alert the folks working on Chaseplane that their changes only work on half the airbus models and to make it so they apply to all CFM and IAE variants of all types of Airbuses to avoid confusion. Hi all! I plan to fly shared cockpit (majestic dash 8) with a friend of mine and for this prupose I want to setup a profile for the Captain´s seat and one for the First officer´s seat. Is it possible to setup different profiles on one airplane in chaseplane? (You can toggle between profiles of differetent aircrafts in the preset section) So I want to have my Dash 8 and I want to have two profiles (Captain and FO) that I can apply by toggling profiles in the profile-bar of Chaseplane! Orbx Central shows v1.1.69 installed in C:\Program Files\Parallel 42\ChasePlane . Uninstalling and reinstalling in Orbx Central fails to update (should be 1.1.78 S?) I've rerun transferring license to Orbx; message is "already installed" What can I do to get ChasePlane to load with P3D v5? BTW, there's no mention of this issue on any forum I've found so far.

Does ChasePlane fix the longstanding FSX VC camera bug? I mean the bug which causes the VC camera in large aircraft (777/747 etc) to move considerably based on heading, altitude, and latitude. I don't have ChasePlane yet, and I've been unable to find such a fix listed on the feature list. But it seems to me that, given the complete control it has over the camera, it ought to be possible to build eye-point compensation for this very annoying bug into ChasePlane? Has this been done, or are you contemplating doing this in a future version? Thanks, Farley

I can't say for sure this is caused by Chaseplane...could be something with P3D4, perhaps? I'm running the latest in non-experimental mode. Sometimes, when I start my sim, my framerates start out about 15...normally they're 30. When it happens I right click->Outside->Spot and my framerate goes back to the 30s. Then I go back inside the airplane where the framerates were 15 and now they're 30.

chaseplane isnt opening, it is physically unable to open and when i try to delete it it says chaseplane is running but its not. can anyone help? I have tried re installing chase plane and VFX and restarting my pc but it doesnt work, i have it less than 12 hours! please help

Okay, so yesterday i finally updated my Chaseplane after a year of having it. lol Tried the new feature REPLAY, and its failing to read that the flaps go down within the sim, it read it within the timeline, which is strange. I understand its still in BETA, so no pressure, but is anyone else having had or is having this issue with an of the other PMDG's? Thank you in advance

...... So... here I was... flying all day... having fun.... suddenly, FTX Vector went on sale. I bought it. Took 3 hours to download but I had other things to do to keep me entertained while I waited. Next... came time to uninstall Flight1's GEX and UTX 2.1 USA. I used their official uninstallers. No problems. Rebooted. Vector installed. Set my settings. I am ready to go! Fire up P3D..... 'YOU DON'T HAVE PERMISSION TO INSTALL ADD-ONS. CONTACT ADMINISTRATOR AND COMPLETE INSTALL WITH ADMIN RIGHTS' ............... huh? So.... I punched my wall.. because I am tired of stupid crap like this.... but... after I calmed down from my insanity rage.... I mucked around with folder permissions and finally noted P3D was no longer launching in Admin mode. Took control of the ProgramData folder and turned on Admin for P3D. It finally launched. Files updated, rebuilt database. Cool... onward to flying! NOT SO FAST, says P3D... you chump! AHAHAHAH.. You dared to actually use a 3rd party Devs UNINSTALLERS to uninstall a product out of P3D!? HAHAHAHA YOU FOOL! Have a new problem! ....so.. now... whenever I press a keyboard command... P3D lags to a complete freeze for a few seconds then resumes normal operations. EZDOK use to do this to me for no reason. So I thought, "oh no.. don't tell me ChasePlane is going to pull this stupid stunt!?" This is one of the reasons I dumped EZDOK the second ChasePlane become available. So.... I shut ChasePlane off and was happy to report it wasn't ChasePlane but I am unhappy to report that the keyboard press problem is still present. Any key I push... LAG/FREEZE/RESUME. It has driven me to drink. I am literally sitting here with a beer in my hand about to cry. I have rebooted, turned off add-ons... LAG every time I push a key. Simulator is now unusable if I dare to touch the keyboard during a flight. This includes button presses on the joystick mapped to keyboard commands through FSUIPC..... What.. the heck as causing this lag/freeze all of sudden!? -_- That'll teach me to uninstall a product! SUPPLEMENTAL: There was one thing to note. When the uninstaller for UTX 2.1 USA was doing it's thing I got an error message saying it couldn't locate the SCENERY.CFG file to remove it's entries. Sure enough, when I went and looked after the uninstaller was done the entries were still in there with little red ! marks next to them. I removed all of it manually using SceneryConfigurationManager. This was the first sign that trouble was about to begin.... 2 hours now.. and can't figure this out...

Hello guys, im a FSX SE user and chase plane has been very cool so far, I have a question, after finding a good deal im buying a new pc tomorrow and I would like to know since I made over 8 aircrafts already, how or whats the procedure to save my presets of chase? I don't want to do all of them again lol thanks for any help.

I have been trying to change my HDR lightning settings for p3d V4, but whenever chaseplane is running it blocks the preferred sliders setting. The only option I can really change when chaseplane is running is to enable or disable the HDR lightning altogether. When I start P3D without chaseplane I can change the settings as much as I want to, but as soon as I start chaseplane my settings are reset.

I see all the beautiful screenshots of MSFS, and would like to switch over from P3D, but their cameras are just so hacky. For example, there doesn't seem to be a clear way to toggle between cockpit and external cameras. Others have also had the same confusion. The following shortcut does not work: What is everyone using as a camera solution? I thought Chaseplane did an amazing job with P3D, and cannot wait for their MSFS version.
