In checking out X-Plane 11's weather depiction, I cranked up the Aerosoft CRJ-200, set up a thunderstorm and then went for a quick circuit, so, no V-speeds set up or anything, didn't even check the weight, just a seat of the pants landing, into updrafts, downdrafts, turbulence, thunder, lightning, hailstones. Good fun, and a very bounced landing owing to having to come in steep and fast because of all the windsheer. Wouldn't wanna try this one in real life, think I'd be diverting lol:

First, I want to say thanks as I have started using this program this week and it adds the final layer of immersion I have been missing in my flight sims. I was wondering if you have had a chance to look at the SDK for exporting flight plans to the new CRJ that was released on Aerosoft this week? I have purchased this aircraft and its a pain to have to manually program the fmc. Keep up the good work! -Brian

Hello, I have been searching for a good CRJ addon for P3D, and my searching has come to no avail thus far. My first question I guess is, is there a way to get the default CRJ-700 from fsx into P3D without having fsx on your PC? I know there is a CRJ in P3D, yet it is only for AI purposes I guessed after I reviewed its .cfg files. My second question is more for aerosoft than the general public, and if you have any information it would be greatly appreciated (I've been waiting for this for 6 months now, LOL). When is/is the Aerosoft CRJ-700X ever going to get released? Also, is that aircraft even going to be compatible with P3D because the description on their website is slightly vague on the subject (when I say compatible I mean with P3D V2.X), and when I asked them directly they wouldn't answer the question saying it was still in "development" which gives me a little hope. Furthermore, I understand Aerosoft and DA have made a CRJ-700/900/1000 model, yet I haven't heard the best reviews on that aircraft, in fact I haven't heard any good reviews on the aircraft so I have chosen to not get that addon. If you have the CRJ from Aerosoft/DA and you like it; please tell me. Thank you all for considering my questions. The only reason I ask such menial questions, forgive me for doing so, is because I am relatively new to P3D, I am a rather young pilot, and the fact that I do not know personally, a single person who uses P3D. sincerely, Paul Robbins.

Has anyone created an ExpressJet Bomardier CRJ-200 or CRJ-700 using a POSKY model? I have an Embraer version for that airline. BigLarry ... :Hypnotized:

Hello all! I know this plane has its problems, but i still love it and i want to master it, but there is a thing i can't understand quite good. I've browsed forums, youtube and just can't find the answer to it. When sellecting the runway (for example ILS 14) and the arrival to it, the FMS provides me only with the last star, not the actual arrival pattern. How do you guys fly the arrival pattern? By charts, GPS, by hand? Or is there a way to program the FMS?

After getting into some of the advanced flight planning features in the default airliners and the new CRJ - there are a few things I'm still confused about in terms of how flight planning works in the real world. I can narrow this down to three main questions (see below) and would be grateful for any real world pilots who can chime in and clarify! 1) How do you know which runway you will be arriving at when composing a flight plan? - The active runway can change multiple times per day based on weather and windspeed / direction - Tools like the MSFS planner and Simbrief don't seem to "know" what the currently active runway is and let you pick any runway you'd prefer How does it work in the real world? Do you look up the currently active runway somewhere before creating a flight plan? What if it changes mid-flight? 2) Simbrief and MSFS make it seem like you have full control over your route - is this true in real life? - When I look at real world traffic patterns, almost all aircraft seem to follow the same exact arrival flow - Wouldn't it create chaos if flights could choose random waypoints and vectors, and zig zag all over controlled airspace as they please? - I know there are specific arrival patterns, but is there one in particular that is the "currently preferred" arrival pattern at any given time? (based on weather, etc...) In the real world, is there a preferred arrival pattern that most pilots follow? Does ATC limit your route options? 3) As you get closer to an airport, does ATC alter your route, or do they let you follow your flight plan most of the time? - I'd imagine heavy traffic results in lots of queue / hold patterns What do you do when you are rerouted? Is there a mad-scramble to punch in new vectors into the FMS? Is that stressful? Thanks for any insight!

Hello Bryan, Will you be producing a FS2Crew pack for the Aerosoft CRJ? Thanks

Ok lads, lets keep it clean. I am hyped for this release to finally have a regional jet in sim. Where do some of you day 1 folks plan to venture out to with your bird? I personally will watch initial reviews drop before I decide how early I wish to adopt the CRJ into my virtual hangar.

After retiring from real-world work in November I have found time to go back and reopen Air Fresno, a central California based regional airline originally opened in March of 1998. I have spent the last 10 months having to deal with real-world responsibility that left virtually no time to update or recruit for the airline. As a result the remaining pilots were told in February 2011 that the airline would be closed for an extended period, until I was able to transfer ownership of my business and finally retire. Now that I have the time I have gone back and revamped the airline website, instituted the changes we were in the middle of in February and will be renewing the domain, which we have owned for 14 years, in a few weeks. All of the pilots that were active at closure have been reinstated and are eager to get flying once again. The only thing that has changed is the flight schedule has been scaled back until staffing increases. If you have a desire to fly for a small, very low impact regional airline than please check us out. We don't require you to pass any test, we have a semi-automatic ACARS system (all you have to do is launch the ACARS, make the flight, save the info and mail it in) and a realistic fleet for the region we serve. Check us out. Thanks,Peter McKay, CEOAir Fresno Virtual Airlineswww.airfresno.com

After uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version of the Aerosoft CRJ Pro, the flight displays and yoke do not work on startup (see photo). I was installing it again because I've read that was the way to eliminate an issue with the localizer needle not working correctly. Has anybody encountered this and knows how to repair? Here's what I've done so far to attempt to fix it: Posted at the Aerosoft CRJ forum Reinstalled the CRJ Pro (deactivating anti-virus while downloading and installing) Installed c++ 2017 redistributables (read issue could be a problem with a corrupt 2017 C++ Redistributables) Replaced P3D 4.5.14.34698 with P3D 4.4.16.27077 thinking that perhaps it would work with the older version Tried it with Windows 10 game mode both on and off since I read some people are having problems with game mode in some games Any ideas or suggestions? Dave
