Hello, I have a question about how may I update the VOR, NDB, Waypoints, etc. for my simulator, P3D v3.4 I have the AIRAC Cycle 1704 and inside I have a lot of files and folders, and I really don't know how to install this. I saw a videotutorial explaining the process for X-Plane 10 and 11, and for those simulators is very easy. You have a RAR file which says xplane10_native_1704.zip and xplane11_native_1704.zip For X-Plane is so easy as uncompress those files in certain folder of the simulator (Xplane 11 or Xplane 10), you use Xplane10_native for X-Plane 10 and xplane11_native for X-Plane 11, and that is all, very easy. However, for Prepar3D I have no idea about how to do this. I see there are a lot of folders inside, and I suspect those folders are for certain aircraft you can purchase... for example I see the zip file jardesign_a320neo_native_1704.zip, and it is clear that file is to provide the AIRAC data cycle 1704 to that particular plane. However, what I want right now is to update the simualtor, that is, the VOR, NDB, waypoints, etc. get updated. I want the default aircrafts be updated, and the default database for all aircrafts, inside P3D v3.4 be updated. How may I do this? I really don't know what file should I run to update the simulator. Your help would be much appreciated!

I fly only General Aviation aircraft with the Flight1 GTN750 Garmin gauge . Along at times using AivlaSoft EFB . I am searching to get good ATC, i normally do not fly online. P3D ver 3 What Airac Cycle would Pilot2ATC come with today and would I not have to get the same cycle for the GTN750 and AivlaSoft or any other software requiring Airac cycle files. Maybe I am out to lunch on this but would not everything have to match Pilot2ATC cycle so all ATC communications regarding the flight were proper. Thank you and product looks interesting Garry P3D Ver 3

Hello everyone. I have recently bought the PMDG 777 for P3D v4. Once installed, I double-checked that the nav data was up-to-date on my plane and sure enough it was. But what was odd about this was when I went to the "IDENT" section, I received the message saying: "NAV DATA OUT OF DATE" This was strange because I looked above the message and it said that I was using the most up to date cycle which is currently 1713 as I am typing this. I also checked the Navdata files in the 777 and that even says that it's on cycle 1713. I find it irritating and I am wondering if there are any solutions to this minor problem? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you! Edward Berkley

Hi folks,As others have mentioned here the default views were too zoomed out for me also, so i changed them:Go to C:/Users/yourname/Appdata/Roaming/Microsoft/Flight/Cameras.cfg( you may need to show hidden folders in folder options ) and browse down to Initial Zoom in Virtual Cockpit section[CameraDefinition.002]Title = $CockpitGuid = {C95EAB58-9E4A-4E2A-A34C-D8D9D948F078}Description = This is the description of the cockpit view.Origin = Virtual CockpitInitialPbh=8.0, 0, 0MomentumEffect = YesSnapPbhAdjust = SwivelSnapPbhReturn = FalsePanPbhAdjust = SwivelPanPbhReturn = FalseTrack = NoneShowAxis = YESAllowZoom = TRUEInitialZoom = 1.0 ...................................... change this from 0.6 to 1.0 as I have done.SmoothZoomTime = 2.0ZoomPanScalar = 1.0ShowWeather = YesThis will give a truer perspective while in the Virtual Cockpit and will be saved for all planes.Someone on this forum posted a slight look down view which you can see i have implemented above -with the line " InitialPbh=8.0, 0, 0 " which gives you an eight degree look down to show slightly more of the panel. Change numbers to suit.Hope this helps, get tweaking !Cub 1.
