Warning, many many shots from my first 24hrs in MSFS 2020 with the DC6 from PMDG. Today I flew EGPH-EIKN-LFRS-EGNT using On Air. Took me a few hours to remember how everything worls in an old piton pounder, shes a dream to fly 🙂 Doogie

I thought such a topic would come handy. To kick start it, I would like to ask if someone's kind enough and make a West Atlantic (cargo variant) repaint on the DC-6 please? In reality, West Atlantic did never operate the type (Air Atlantique did). West Atlantic is basically a holding company for Atlantic Airlines (they "inherited" Air Atlantique) and West Air Sweden. West Atlantic operate a fleet consisting of BAE ATPs (would love to see a study level BAE ATP in P3D), 737s, 767s and CRJs. I think the West Atlantic livery (both the grey and the white one) looks great and would make for an excellent dress for the DC-6 especially in a nice, weathered condition.

Hi, i did paint a Livery for the DC6. I create a Texture Folder and changed the aircraft.cfg like with the B777 or 747 also. I´m sure (99.9%) that new entry in the aircraft.cfg is correct. I save it on the Desktop and copy the File back to the DC6B Aircraft Folder. And now starts the Problem. Run the FSX as Admin, equal, the FSX dont read the changed aircraft.cfg. Not just only the new Entry, all other DC6 are not shown, also if i delete the Entry again. And so i dont know what is my Problem. Thanks a Lot for all Help Gonzo

Many thanks for the hard work that went into the tutorials,Kyle, It's appreciated very much. It wasn't until I saw Pete's (frooglesim) video that I expressed much interest in the DC6. Guys... During the writing of one of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling made an alias account and logged onto a predictions/expectations forum and tossed around some of her ideas for the book. Many of them were shot down and rejected. Here's what I'm puzzling on... Imagine if some dev team member made a second account as somebody like xxjoshamxX (not a real person, made up), and was galavanting around the forums making perfectly accurate predictions and release date predictions. WE WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW.

The Livery is of the 1960's Era, and Depicts CAT's "Round Island Flight, out of Taipei's, Sungshan Airport. I actually Bent Wrenches on this Baby! She's Big, Ugly, and Beautiful!! The Texture's are for Libardo Guzman, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson's GA C46 MIL, 4blade, with Curtis Electric Props. I've been patiently waiting the release of the triple 7 like every other pilot has. To the point that I also purchased captain Sims triple 7. But not only am I waiting for the triple 7 but I'm also super interested and exited about the DC-6. Its been quite some months now since any news of the DC-6 was made, so I really want some updates on this bird too...
