  1. Folks, Is the DH2 Turbo Beaver and DH3 Turbo Otter an available aircraft on fsx? does a good one exist somewhere? Thanks
  2. The Ford Tri-Motor Project Team has another exciting historical aircraft for you to enjoy: The deHavilland DH89a Floats Version Aircraft created by Dave Garwood and friends - who graciously gave permission for us to use his aircraft and release it from the Ford Tri-Motor Project site. We have focussed on the Floats version and created a very special pack of 40 historical liveries of the 1930's era. Plus a Paint Kit for other budding artists to tinker with. To view a slideshow of the entire pack of liveries: http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/counter/DH88-Counter/click.php?id=44 This aircraft and texture pack has been added to our Miscellaneous Aircraft Page: Direct link here: http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/Misc-Aircraft.htm There is a bucket of special aircraft on the Misc Page - including a couple of other DH89a repaints - however, this pack is highlighted with a red border. While your visiting the site check out the Other Aircraft that we use in support of the Ford Tri-Motor Project as well as the bucket of scenery that is freely available. As a side note - almost 50 thousand download of the hundred of fun Jigsaw Puzzles that are available on the site for your entertainment. :-) Anyway folks - that is all for now from the Ford Tri-Motor Project Team. Happy simming from Ed and I.
  3. Hi Good People, For those that are interested Edward and I have Packaged up Jens B. Kristensen's deHavilland 91 Albatross (with his consent of course) and a small bucket of era specific liveries. As many may know only around 6 Albatross's were every manufactured before deHavilland was required to focus on the Mosquito production for WWII. The Albatross was an outstanding piece of design work for 1938, almost revolutionary in what it delivered as a passenger aircraft in comparision to other developers. But unfortunately the potential was never fully explored. We, the Ford Project Team, thought we would do some "what if" liveries for this classic aircraft and give her a bit of artificial history as a World Class Passenger aircraft. You will find her at http://www.ford-tri.motor.net - via the Other Aircraft Page or direct link http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/Misc-Aircraft.htm I hope it brings some happy flying times to your sim. Regards and happy simming
  4. Hi Simmers, Not sure if your aware that the Ford Tri-Motor Project contains not only the Ford Tri-Motor aircraft and texture sets but also many other aircraft and texture sets for the same era. A treasure trove of gems for your flight sim enjoyment. In the Other Aircraft (http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/other_aircraft.htm) Listings we have the following that have their own page: (01) deHavilland DH88 - liveries for the Microsoft Default Aircraft (02) deHavilland DH80a - aircraft and liveries for Milton Shupe's award winning aircraft - floats, wheels and ski models and lots of texture sets (03) Lockheed Vega5 - over 200 texture sets for the Microsoft Default Aircraft (04) MAC Flamingo - large range of texture sets available. And something even more interesting is that we also have a Miscellaneous Aircraft Page - a secret stash of some other outstanding aircraft and texture sets. (http://www.ford-tri-motor.net/Misc-Aircraft.htm) Contains: (01) Dragon Rapide deHavilland DH89a - Floats Aircraft with 40 liveries and paint kit (02) Dragon Rapide deHavilland DH89a - Wheels Aircraft with 43 liveries and paint kit (03) Vickers Vimy - two liveries for the Microsoft Default aircraft (04) Junker F13 - Wheels Version with 20 liveries (05) Boeing Clipper 314 - Floats aircraft and 4 liveries plus a paint kit (06) Messerschmitt 108 - Aircraft and 3 liveries plus a paint kit (07) Fleet Freighter 50K - Milton Shupe aircraft - 3 models - Floats, Wheels, Skis, new 2D Panel, 12 liveries and a paint kit (08) Boeing 221A - Aircraft and 5 liveries (09) Curtiss Jenny - three liveries for the Microsoft Default Aircraft. (10) DH89a Wheel and Float models with paint kits only - Plus a small batch of independent texture set for the deHavilland 89a models There is lots of award winning stuff in the "Other Aircraft" and "Miscellaneous Aircraft" pages that I am sure you will get some great fun out of using - all totally free for your flight sim enjoyment. Regards Garry and Edward your Ford Project Team.
