I have just purchased the 777 , going through intro pages it asks me to download th UIAutomationCore .dll file. The link it gives I cant get through to A) Do I need it? B) How can I find it Hope I have explained it clearly, I am new to this forum thing

Lately I have been having troubles with my computer. I have the PMDG 737NGX 600-900 for FSX. I tried to fix my computer myself with almost success but then something happened. I had to reinstall my PMDG product and all the other payware addons I have. After that it worked fine, but then something happened and I was forced to take my computer in where they reset the computer and deleted everything but backed up most of my stuff and put it back in. I used to downloaded thing to be able to reinstall my addon but since they deleted all that, I can't do that anymore. I still have the aircraft but it is glitched so it is unflyable. I tried to find the download URL but it had expired. I have no way of downloading my PMDG 737NGX 600-900 anymore. I need help. This is one of my favourite aircraft. Help you be greatly appreciated.

Since the SP1 is out I would like to make a clean reinstall as per RSR instructions. However I cannot download the base installer. I used to download the installer through the e-commerce -> previous orders -> my NGX order -> Download URL.Now It says "Note: This URL has expired."Do I miss something? Hi folks, I have a point and a question for you all today. Is it possable, that you can download an FMC for an aircraft, that can then be used for creating routes with waypoints? Including takeoff page, progress page etc? As, if this is possable, my CLS 767 could be flown a massive amount more, and i would enjoy being able to fly my freeware British Airways A319 "Firefly" (G-EUPC) Thanks All -Andy

As some of you may know, I have developed an aircraft for X-Plane called Chase's MD-80. Well, I should say "am developing." I have decided to use this blog to help me communicate to the community my progress and my experiences. I don't have much free time, so I am not sure how this will go, but I will certainly try it out. Here goes. Everyday I seem to wake up and get my MD-80 Project on my mind. I think to myself, "Okay, I'll just go finish ____, and then I'll be done for the day; I can just go fly after that." Well, that hasn't really been happening recently. My routine has been more like: get up, drag myself to the shower, throw on some clothes, shuffle up the stairs, turn on my computer, launch blender, edit ONE thing in the 3D cockpit, launch X-Plane to see if it worked, go back to blender and repeat these steps. Each day I seem more inspired to follow this patter as I start to see the light at the end of the tunnel more and more clearly. Of course I then take a look around and see all that's miss from the plane that I still have to research, model, and texture. But that too is rather inspiring. I want to finish it so badly that I am making a real effort to do as much as I can everyday. I think I have made some serious leaps forward from my last release. That brings me to my next dilemma. I don't know how I should proceed to release this in the future. I mean, in the past I pretty much thought that as I fixed things or added things, I would pack it up and call it a 0.x release. I started off this way too. But as I got into some serious modeling, I reconsidered. I am leaning towards holding off the next release until it is "finished." By that I mean completely modeled and mostly functional. A 1.0 release if you will. It just doesn't seem to make sense to pack up an incomplete aircraft anymore. I am glad I did it originally though. I got lots of positive and helpful feedback from the community that way and also established myself as an MD-80 developer. Now I am stuck though. I have a 0.2 plane sitting in the downloads section of the X-Plane forums with something like 1600 downloads that is well out of date. The flight dynamics are primitive and certainly not characteristic of an MD-80. The fuselage is see-through. And the 3D cockpit is barely textured and almost completely unusable. It is nothing more than a preview. I could pack up what I have now for a release, but how do I clean it up without robbing these good people? I don't want to drop the 3D cockpit as it is the most improved area, yet still unfinished. Plus it would be one LESS thing than what the previous release had. That's no good. I really am struggling. I want to let them have a plane with the correct flight dynamics and such, but I don't think I am ready for that. Right now it looks like I am going to have to wait. I really think I am done with releasing things early as a preview. It makes a mess for me from a developmental standpoint. Hello, i purchased PMDG 777-200 in a shop online. I'm unable to make software update because when i loggon on pdmg website i only see the 777-300 expansion package. When i start operation center, it says to download full base package to make upgrade. How can i do ? Regards, Mathieu

Hello, I bought the PMDG 777 Base package like one year ago. Everything was fine but last Saturday I formatted my computer (not before uninstalling every simulator and add-on) and when I reinstalled it the problem came: I think it could be that I opened the PMDG Operations Center before opening the simulator to register the installation but the problem is that I can't download the 5.1 sound package... I searched in many forums for a possible solution but no one got the same problem as me. I openned a ticket on the PMDG support page, they answered propossing me to "reinstall" the PMDG Operations Center by removing everything except the updater (the solution that everyone knows) but it didn't work. I haven't got an answer for this ticket from this Tuesday but I think it's understandable because they may be so busy with the updates for Prepar3d v4 and that's why I open this topic. Hello I had to reset my PC so I lost all my files. Now I want to restart FSX again and with it my PMDG Boeing 777. I had problems before with it so I contacted the support. They did answer the first time with a question about what error message I get. After that they didn't answer. So my download URL has expired and what should I do now? I don't think the support will answer my ticket... You pay so much money for something on the pc and then I can't expect support? That's really bad.

Well, this is nothing new, but figured I'd share my ENB series settings. It took me hours to get it to this point; so maybe for someone out there it will be a freebie. I spent a few nights experimenting with and researching all the ENB series file settings and have got it to a point where it seems, at least to my eyes, to be very real, with a touch of atmospheric bloom, and working in all conditions (desert, night, day etc.). I found this handy download that installs ENB into your fsx directly. It's been tweaked by the maker, but I find it to be quite conservative and not using the enb potential to the fullest Imho. Thanks for making the installer though! : http://www.fs2000.org/downloads/doc_details/32424 USE AT OWN RISK! From what I've read, you need a decent graphics card. This setting is specific to a high end card. (gtx 560ti at the time of this posting) Just open up fsx and look for the enbseries.ini Open it in word pad and play (if you can call it that). By the way, if you open fsx in windowed mode and make your wordpad adjustments in another,...all you have to do is change the size of the fsx window and it will reload the textures and graphics settings so you can see the changes you made without reloading fsx. Just save enb each time you make a change, then grab and change the fsx window in some way. Tada. I think this is pretty decent. I personally like a bit of shmalzy bloom. If you don't, just lower the value of Bloompower day or night. After all is said and done, the main ones you want to play with in the ENB settings are: [bloom] Bloompower day (Produces the atmospheric haze around light objects. High values looks like cheap porn from the 70's....but there is a sweetspot where it feels like light and space. ]bloom] Bloompower night, (I like bloom at night at airports...really brings your landing lights to life and all the lighting. [bloom] Bloomfadetime....(basically how fast in milliseconds the 'eye' would adjust from moving from dark to light) Darkening effect. Basically the level of contrast intensity. Higher values = darker darks and lighter lights. I sat in my car on a bright day and approximated the contrast difference facing the sun. These alone will give you lots to fiddle with. I find with ENB, sky textures that have little to no blend work better as the dynamic range washes out the sky. Any sky in REX that has a single Blue to it as apposed to a blend looks more realistic and less washed out.
