Hello, I've noticed some FPS problems with the newest fixer e.g. when I fly with the Aerosoft Airbus. The problem are the shadows in the VC. Can someone tell me how to get better frames with shadows in the VC? -Sweetfx; NI for my GTX560; REX4; ASN Cheers

Hi everyone. I've got a problem with too shiny aircraft in FSX (this example NGX): http://i57.tinypic.com/2v9sw28.png I'm using Steve DX10 Fixer v.1.2 and I was trying to fix it with General Shader Option/Reflections and so on but nothing happened. Anybody knows how to do it correctly? Thanks in advance.

I am wondering why, after I have spent £20 purchasing the DX10 fixer, I can't get as much as a quick reply from you who profit from the sale. One example :- http://forum.avsim.net/topic/461000-post-dx10-fixer-order-id-ste150129-7198-86770/ Example number 2 :- http://forum.avsim.net/topic/460913-r9-200-series-gpu-and-the-dx10-fixer-query/ It is really so difficult for you to answer these questions ? Or is it a case of "Now he has paid we are not interested" ? I notice you are answering some peoples threads so I know your alive. This is very disappointing and not a good reflection of the supposed 'support forum'. Yes, I have read the manual. Is it unreasonable to ask if you would cast an eye over my FSX.cfg when I have spent £20 to purchase your product ? Plus, I have the issue with fog really slowing down my system.

Hello knowing community, I made the tactical mistake and updated my nvidia driver to the version 361.75. Now I have a slight moiré on the displays and the weather is partly displayed as rectangular plateau, better said, it is a graphical artefact. I was trying to follow Ryans instruction on how to setup this driver properly, but this new driver does feature completely different functions or I am simply a bit thick. Additionally I fiddled around with the DX10 fixer 3.2.3, which did not change anything on the night textures of the sceneries I really fly often into, so I disabled DX10-preview again. If one merciful soul out there should have a solution for this combination of issues I would be highly grateful and offer german beer! Best and cheers! Holger Kneib

I know, I know, it's not like me to buy much payware, but I've had my eye on this pretty little thing for a while, despite my liking for heavy metal & fast jets. I took advantage of a the recent Just Flight sale so that the Lionheart Creations Aerospool WT-9 Dynamic was mine for less than a tenner It appears to be very faithful to the real life ultralight. Thanks for viewing.

I've taken over Paul "PJ" Johnson's excellent "How-to" guide for new DX10 Fixer Users. His original document helped me get my system set up correctly. It's a step-by-step guide and (I think) quite comprehensive - no need to look up other sources. Used with Steve's manual, I'd say it's all you need. The REVISED "How-to" Guide (v1.01 01 July 2014) For related DX10 files: DX10 Fixer - all related files All feedback welcome - here or by PM. Adamski.

During the last months we have optimised the FSX with the given DX10 patch V3.2.1 or V3.2.2. Some files were manually corrected e.g. inside shaderHLSL, aircraft.cfg with ballast.fx, effects folder with several .fx files and fsx.cfg acc. to the helpfull advises from the "how-to" doc. I wonder if the upcoming DX10 fixer will require a vanilla fsx related to DX10, or will the DX10 fixer automatically correct/delete/modify/add our previous corrections too. Wulf

For me, what it has done is fix a broken DX9 FSX. I can now enjoy: Better graphics! Smother performance! Stability! I’d like to add that now I can run FSX with unlimited frames with no lags, stutters, or blurry scenery. That‘s more value than I expected. I have more to say about what it has fixed, but I’ll let you share what it has done for you. Here’s to the fixer! Jose

I seem to have lost the ability to control the amount of bloom. Using the DX10 fixer sliders for reflective and lights has no effect in FSX. I then uninstalled the libraries, then uninstalled DX10 fixer, restored default ShadersSHSL files and installed latest version of DX10 fixer. Still no change. What am I missing ? Thanks

I just wanted to ask a quick question on Direct X 10 and 9. I've been getting around 20-24 average fps in the PMDG 737 with Direct X 9, and when I use Dx10 with the Fixer by Steve I get an average of 18-20 fps. A few months ago I installed FSX on my new pc and I did immediately started using the Fixer, I was getting 26-33 average fps, but also at the time using Dx9 gave me 15-18 fps? So it's completely the other way round now? I might just reinstall FSX again, that's what they say, reinstall FSX every few months.
