Greetings, I was wondering if someone has experienced the same issue with Windows 10 running FS2004. So this is what happens after installing Windows 10 I went and installed my copy of FS2004 and then installed the 9.1 update after rebooting. Initial tests made it look like FS2004 would run fine under Windows 10, however these were flights done in the default Cessna 172. As soon as I picked the default Boeing 737, I found that the simulator would crash to desktop when loading the created flight. Furthermore these crashes occur in all default Boeing airplanes in FS2004 with Windows 10. I went and checked the Windows 10 event log and found out that the cause of all the crashes have been caused by the Panel.dll file. I was wondering if these crashes were being experienced by others who are running Windows 10 in the latest 10049 built. Thanks for any information on the matter!

Hi, Im a real world Commerical pilot who likes to use fs 2004 , Im happy with the look of fs 2004 except for a ''shimmering'' im getting on buildings and landscape. Below are my pc specs. Windows Vista Business 64-bit SP2 AMD Athlon 64 3800+ Orleans 64MB NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE (Dell) 2.00GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 267MHz Next are my video card settings, and fs 2004 settings (for my video card settings global settings are set as the same as program settings) Look forward to your replies on what settings to use on Nvidia Inspector for my specs and current setup. Hey Guys I;ve decided to create a Topic on Performance Tweaks for FS9 I just recently Installed FS9 On my older PC To Be honest it doesnt run that bad, Ive added alot of Scenery,Aircrafts. I read about a nifty tool that searches for Missing Alpha Channels in the FS9 Root directory and atumatically fixes them. Ive done that along with a few FS9.CFG Tweaks and i mus say it runs flawlessly. Anyhow the purpose of this thread,is for people to share there Most effective tweaks (MOST EFFECTIVE TWEAKS) lol or even New tweaks that has xchanged there Flight simulation expirience P;ease Share. My system Specs CPU/ Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93GHZ Mother Board/ INTEL DG43GT Classic Series GPU/ AMD RADEON HD 6750 Series PCI Express SYS RAM/ 8GB RAM DDR2 Please Share;-) Happy SImming

Hello, I was wondering if I could get some assistance on this topic. Recently, I have been pondering the idea of adding FS9 to my MacBook Pro's Bootcamp installation. However, I have been wondering whether or not FS9 will run at near maximum settings under my current system specifications which are: Core i5 540M (2-cores) running at 2.53GHz (TurboBoost @ 3.06GHz) NVIDIA GT 330M GPU with 256mb GDDR3 VRAM Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 4GB DDR3 RAM Currently, I have a copy of FS9 laying in the attic but I need to break open a few boxes in order to find it. So I decided to ask the question here to at least get an idea of what to expect. Also, since I will installing FS9 on a laptop and I know that Disc 4 is needed to launch the simulator, I was wondering if there is also a mod that allows FS2004 to run without having Disk 4 in the tray. Thanks for any assistance that can be provided on this matter!
