  1. Hi I know that you get the plus sign on window to fly with the mouse, but if you have a joy/yoke I can't get this option. Is there a way to fly with the mouse, even with hardware plugged. Thank's
  2. BARCELONA, September 5, 2012 -- fly Ocean today officially announced a comprehensive fleet renewal program. The renewal program was finally approved by the executive board and will continue until mid-2013. Affected by the restructuring are mainly the middle and long-haul fleets of fly Ocean. fly Ocean repsonses with this step to the changing market conditions in Europe. In future, the airline relies on A320 and E190 series aircraft on all intra-European flights. For this purpose, eight Embraer E190-100 aircraft will join the fleet between September and October 2012, which were intentionally ordered for fly Ocean's subsidiary CityConnex. In the same period, five A320 series aircraft will leave the fleet. On long-haul flights, fly Ocean will increasingly rely on Boeing B777 series aircraft. The airline already operates eighteen B777-300ER aircraft and takes delivery of its first of eight ordered B777-200LR in mid-September. The fleet of yet eight A330 series aircraft - three A330-243 and five A330-343 - will be cut to a total number of three A330-343 aircraft. New services for new A380 fly Ocean now operates its new Airbus A380 five times a week on flights from Barcelona to Miami. The flight FO 271 departs every Tuesday to Saturday during the summer season until late September and complements the daily A380 service from Madrid to Miami. With the new winter flightplan 2012/2013, starting October 1st, 2012, fly Ocean will operate the A380 on a daily service from Madrid to Miami and three times a week from Madrid to Los Angeles. fly Ocean's A380 are equipped with six First Class suites, 50 Business Class lie-flat seats and 400 Economy Class seats, offering a total of 456 seats per flight. 4. The event text below contains updated information, primarily in the prizes section. PLEASE READ THE FULL TEXT of the description and prizes sections! Event Description To celebrate the release of the PMDG 777, FedEx Virtual Air Cargo is proud to announce that we will be sponsoring a community wide VATSIM group flight! Our group flight will take place on Saturday, September 14th, where we will depart KMEM (Memphis Intl) between 0900Z and 1400Z and arrive at OMDB, Dubai, between 2200Z and 0300Z thirteen to fourteen hours later. This is to mimic the real-world FDX8 flight, where they use the 777. We will also be offering supplementary flights for those who are less hardcore long-haul pilots. We will offer a departure from BIKF (Keflavik, Iceland) between 1530Z and 1800Z (Estimated 8-8.5 hours flight time) as well as a departure from LGAV (Athens, Greece) between 1930Z and 2200Z. (Estimated 4-4.5 hours flight time) Both of these supplementary flights are timed so that they will join the main flight from Memphis, and the whole group will come together at OMDB around the same time. We’ll give the controllers a run for their money at all four airports! Plan on being fully staffed at least for the local areas around each airport. We have notified every ARTCC and FIR along the route, and we hope to get some sort of controller support during the entire duration of the flight. We have notified every ARTCC and FIR along the route, and we hope to get some sort of controller support during the entire duration of the flight. We also will have Ramp Control at KMEM for all departures as long as they leave from the North FedEx Ramp. Coordination is KEY to making this a success and we have put through the hardest effort to make sure this goes off without a hitch. We will also be entering participants for prizes of cash value as long as they fly (and complete!) the flight on VATSIM and book the flight using our booking system. This system is located at http://events.fedexvac.org where there are around 200 slots to book. We are initially offering 100 slots from KMEM, 50 from BIKF, and 50 from LGAV. PLEASE CHECK to make sure your desired callsign is not already taken! These should make the event available to almost anyone who wants to fly, no matter where and what time zone they live. We are hoping this fills up! Final Note: PLEASE KNOW YOUR AIRPLANE. We DO NOT want to aggravate the controllers or make it any more of a task to control the large number of aircraft expected to participate in this event with people who do not know how to operate their aircraft. This is why we gave a period of time between release and event- to let everyone get familiar with their new baby! EVENT PRIZES: Two (2) License Keys for the PMDG 777. (READ INFO BELOW) Three (3) BluePrint Simulation Sceneries (Except KJFK) One (1) Aerosoft BIKF Keflavik Intl One (1) Aivlasoft EFB License Key One (1) Copy of PFPX Flight Planning Software* One (1) Copy of A2A Simulations Cessna 172 Trainer With our friends at PMDG now directly supporting our event, we have received a donation of two licenses for the PMDG 777. We will be choosing two grand prize winners to receive one of these licenses. What's that you say? You already own this fine bird? Well fear not! Current 777 owners will have two other options. You can either receive a refund for the purchase price of the 777, or gift a license to a fellow flight sim enthusiast in need. Even if you already have it, you can still benefit! *Thanks to Carl, our Western Regional Manager, for donating a copy of PFPX for this event. 5. Hi Guys, I need to buy a new joystick to use in FSX and other flight sims but i am having a very bad time in deciding which one to get. I thought about the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog but it is too expensive (400 euros) and its really a perfect match for the A10 warthog. I like flying with FSX planes so i was thinking about the Saitek X52 pro since its plug and play in fsx and cheaper at 190 euros. I need a joystick which could be used as an all rounder too and i also believe future expansions are more available with saitek gear. The saitek x52 pro also has an MFD display on the thrust control unit: - How useful is this? - Is it really important in FSX? - Can we assign airplane controls to it? What do you guys think: - Is the saitek x52 pro a good buy for FSX? - Are you guys happy with your saitek X52 pro and other saitek gear? Any feedback that can help me decide will be appreciated. Thanks in advance, happy flying TOX
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQS8-MNWAdw With more than nine-teen thousand operations and more than forty million people yearly it is no surprise that Phoenix Sky Harbor is the ninth busiest airport in the US and twenty third busiest in the world. Harsh monsoons can plague Phoenix from July to September and raging sand storms bring all air traffic to an abrupt and grinding halt. With these hazardous weather conditions and the amount of traffic that Phoenix receives daily it is not surprising that Phoenix gets overloaded. The Phoenix Tracon and Local control are ready for the onslaught of traffic. So...are you up to the task of overloading? Join the Albuquerque ARTCC December 1st from 7EST-11EST (2359Z-0400Z) to see if you have what is takes to overload Phoenix. Please read over the pilot briefing to be familiar with Phoenix procedures and what you can expect from the controllers and what the controllers expect from you: http://zabartcc.org/....lot Brief.pdf" Terminal Charts: http://www.airnav.co...m/airport/KPHX" Enroute Charts: http://skyvector.com/" Will you be there?
  7. Hello everyone, I just see that Simheaven has closed the doors... :( I had downloaded some photosceneries from their website but I lack some... I prefer their sceneries in ZL17 than zone photo in ZL16. Maybe some of you have some photoscenries for France and Spain that can send to me. Or maybe you know other website where I can find some.... Thanks a lot Ludo
