Hi, I download demo version of FsCaptain for FS9. I already have FSpassengers I like it too. But I think FsCaptain have better realism. So if I purchase FsCaptain, Fspassengers is going where all other deleted bytes go. :biggrin: But I have some questions for FsCaptain users. I have been searhing for two days then I decide to join the Avsim. I like to plan my own flights but I can't figure out how to do it with FsCaptain. Is it possible ? When I using Fspassengers I can fly 2-3 flights in a row without ending flight. Fspassengers can change flight id without ending flight or using aircraft selection menu. While Aircraft parked on appron with APU running I plan my flight with FsCommander, load the new plan to FS9 then takeoff. It's good thing not start cold and dark for every flight. :smile: Can I do it with FsCaptain ? And above all I use 3 aircraft in FS9. QWSim Avro/RJ, iFly 737 and PMDG 747. Can I use them with FsCaptain ? I can't find cfg's. And they are complex addons. Are there any issues with FsCaptain ? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

So I have noticed a little problem when I use FS2CREW and PS PASSENGER X. I have max realism set in FS Passengers and there seems to be conflict in procedures on the ground regarding the strobe light. FS Passengers demands that the Strobe Light be set to STEADY when entering the runway for take off but my FO in FS2CREW turns it to STROBE when entering the runway after calling for Runway Entry Procedures. Who is right? Is the strobe suppose to be solid or flashing when entering the runway? It costs me 30 points on my score every time I take off if I don't go over to the light panel in the 737 and flick it back to Steady.

Hello commanders, My name is Fred and when I was flying in Flight Simulator, I realized that while my passengers embarked or disembarked, they always heard the samesongs of FSPassengers, and always in the same sequence. Then I decided to create an application that offered me more options to vary both the songsand the sequence in which they were executed. After bought the FS2Crew Voice Commander Edition for the PMDG 737 I was annoyed, since the voices ofboth the flight attendants of FS2Crew and FSPassengers overlapped. I decided to make an application to solve this problem, since I would not be enoughto erase the lines of the commissioners, because I use another aircrafts which do not use FS2Crew. Well, the software to work with FS 2004 is ready tobe used (I think. Here everything works OK). So, go to www.spilfred.com, download the SpilFSP and tell me what do you think. Hi people, I encountered a problem with the reason of the problem but I don't know how to fix it. Title tells the problem. I tested without the normal panel.cfg which fs2crew not installed: FSPS X worked. And i made a ditch landing It's fun. And i tested both installed: It didn't work. Fs2crew works perfect in this situation. But when I start FSPS X. A black rectangle appears instead of the normal blue mini-display with icons even manifest dialog is disabled. I really want to fly with these addons. Help me please :C -
So I am playing with the 700 series add-on for PMDG and I have a couple of questions that are probably answered somewhere in the 3000 pages of manual but I want to make sure it is not a bug and see if anyone else has the answer right off the bat rather than searching for hours in a book thicker than the Bible. SEE IMAGE BELOW. CLICK ON TO FULL SCREEN IT. 1. When I turn on the lighting for the cockpit and turn it just past halfway the back panels on the MCP LEDs turn blue. Is this normal ops? It never did this in the 800 series. 2. The TCAS Indicators never went away on the MFDs. The indicators were on during power up, pre-flight check and on into the flight. I use FS2Crew to do the start up sequence and he didn't seem to indicate a problem with the TCAS system but the markings persisted throughout the entire flight making it hard to see my VSI and altitude. 3. When I turned the lighting nobs to turn on the background flood lighting on the MCP and the MFD panels they had no effect on the lighting until AFTER we landed and started the shutdown sequence. Then the lighting turned on. Normal operation in the 800 was for the lights to activate the moment you turned the dial and light up the consoles. 4. I use FS Passengers X and had to go through the whole FS2Crew work around to get the FSPassenger mini window to show.. however... it has ANOTHER panel icon that sits on top of it now and will flicker off and on but mostly it stays on, covering up the damn mini window... -_- Anyone experience these problems (if they are problems on the 700 series PMDG 737) and know a work around? Thanks.

Hello pilots, I´ve made an update of a small tool of mine that I would like to share with you. VAS Monitor is a tool that allow you to see how much VAS memory you have on your flights on FSX and P3d. You can see the VAS amount, set a value to alarm you and pause the sim when a minimum VAS is reached (with visual and audible alarm) and a button to scramble your ambient music of FSPassengers, so not all your flights will have the same music sequence. It´s very simple and free. I hope it helps you in some way. Requeriments: FSUIPC (not registered); VAS Monitor Download P.S. Sorry about my english, it´s not my main language. Cheers Fred Matias

Hi everyone, I'd like to create this thread in order to regroup all the ideas this community has to improve FSW so DTG devlopment team can see all our expectations on one page. Having a team listening to the Flight Sim Community for creating the perfect sim is rare so I hope this thread will be useful for all of us. In order to keep this readable, your posts can contain 2 categories: - small improvments that could be implemented rapidly - big and long-term improvments (real world weather etc...) Please dont comment or discuss too much, keep it simple and readable, give your ideas that's all. Let DTG Team judge what is worth it and what can be done or not. I'll start: Short ones : _rain sound could be louder to feel and fear the elements :) (or be adjustable, the environment slider is currently not that efficient) _make a " visual smoke effect" if you look at the wings from the cockpit when flying through clouds to simulate the plane is REALLY in it. _make ATC speak faster like in real life _ Head anticipation in turns when taxi and flying (like in XP Realistic addon) Big ones : _ a "FSPassengers like" feature whith passengers screaming in turbulence (make us avoid the clouds) _Windows Voice Recognition for ATC would be awesome like in Tower3DPro _ ATC speaking with accents depending on which continent or country we fly

I'm looking for an addon that will put "game" into the FSX -- specifically something that allows for a career mode. Any suggestions? It seems like FsPassengers was (maybe still is?) the king of the hill for a while. I tried out the demo version, and it does indeed look pretty cool & very robust, but it also seems to lack an automatic flight planning feature ... I think. I also purchase Ideal Flight 10 kind of as an impulse-buy and in part because it seems like it would wraps a lot of different things into one addon: it auto-generates flight plans, randomizes weather, will let you park a plane and pickup where you left off, adds passengers & cargo, etc. I like it in general, but the "career" aspect of the program is a little light, especially compared to FsPassengers. Ah, if only I could combine the two! (Perhaps it's possible?) I missing any other good ones out there? Maybe I just need to use FsPassegers in conjunction with another planing tool? Maybe I just haven't played around with it enough yet? (Fyi, I fly mostly GA aircraft in case that a difference. Kinda feels like FsPassengers is gear more toward airliner careers.)
