  1. I installed the unregistered version of FSUIPC4(Ver4.84), Linda v1.11 with module 1.7 for NGX and FSX with SP2. If I used the VRi software, the MCP Combo II(Boeing) works. If I use Linda(do not run the VRi software), the panel lights blink when FSX starts, but I never get past the "Select your Aircraft and FLY Now" on the MCP LCD. No buttons or knobs work. Everything is green on the Linda GUI. The PMDG737NGX choosen in the LINDA GUI when I press FSX sync. Clicking the "Reload Lua Engine" gives me a status line on the FS display, but nothing changes. OS: Win7 64bit In FSUIPC.ini, I can find these two lines [VRInsight] 1=com3 no [Luafiles] and [MacroFiles] sections in that file. Appreciate any suggestions.
  2. Hi I am stil fairly new to fsx and was considering buying this, although I am not interested in the Joystick side of it as my Saitek set up works fine as it is. However I recently got a g3d.dll error and I understand this may prevent it? I have the unregistered version installed, would the registered version have stopped this? Are there any other benefits from buying it, ie preventing other crashes? Any feedback from users greatly appreciated, running on windows 7, 64 bit, i7 3770k with 16Gig Ram and 680GTX Regards
  3. Hello all! I'm hoping somebody will be able to help me with this crash. I recently had a new PC built specifically for FSX use. I installed FSX, Acceleration, and a few addons normally. I also had my fsx.cfg file tweaked using Bojote's tweaker tool. I had a little trouble getting through airliner flights initially but it seemed to get sorted out. I had a good 2 weeks or so where I would fly at leaset once a day and never got a CTD until recently. After researching (googling) the fault name, I came across a "workaround" in FSUIPC4. I installed it, ran a couple flights and it seemed to work until about a week ago. On a flight from KJFK (FSDT) in fair weather I got one during preflight, then restarted and was able to complete the flight to KFLL (FSDT). I then started a flight to TJSJ, where it crashed during preflight. This is where I began to log the crashes. Tried again, and was able to make the flight to TJSJ, but I then crashed on very short final (about 10 ft above the runway). I then lowered some graphics setting (autogen from extreme to dense) and tried the same flight the next day no problem, but then leaving TJSJ for KMIA, I crashed on preflight. Then fsx wouldn't even open to the menu, and would sometimes crash when choosing aircraft, or weather. Got it to load at KMIA (default) and yet another crash. To troubleshoot, I tried updating my Nvidia drivers, re-installing FSUIPC4, re-installing FSUIPC4 as admin, and rebuilding a new fsx.cfg, I'm not sure what else could be causing this. All CTDs were gd3.dll fault. Please help, I miss my happy flights, and I really would love for this great sim to work. 4. Public safety announcement - the Valkyrie doesn't like the wind up her! I finally purchased Pete Dowson's FSUIPC4 the other week, mainly because I finally decided I should fly the big iron with winds aloft and it must be said that so far the wind smoothing function works well. I think I've only had one incidence of overspeed and even then it was brief and didn't cause much of an issue. However, tonight I discovered that the XB-70 cannot deal with any winds aloft once she goes supersonic. She begins to bank one way then after a little while banks the other way, then even further until she rolls over. I was watching the wind readout from the status line (shift-z) and even when it was steady in one direction, the plane exhibited the same behaviour. Once I'd turned off winds aloft via FSOpen Clouds, she flew as she should - I jockeyed the throttle(s) and vertical speed through the transonic and supersonic phases. Manchester to Reykjavik in not a lot of time!
  5. Hello everyone, I am facing some problems with FSUIPC4 on FSX Gold Editition. I have installed FSUIPC as adminstrator and all of its files are installed in FSX's modules folder. However, FSUIPC never gets loaded by FSX. I realised that as soon as I launched FSX after installing FSUIPC, because the Simulator did not ask for my authorization to run FSUIPC. I checked FSUIPC Install log file, everything ok. I checked FSX.dll, everything looks normal. I really cannot understand what the problem is. I would appreciate your some help. Respectfully, GeKa
