Hi, so I’ve had msfs2020 for a while and so far it was very good👍🏼. While landing tho, I noticed that even if the reverse thrust is at maximum power, it doesn’t slow the aircraft too much. I mean if I activate the spoilers and the reverse thrust at maximum and don’t use the normal brakes, the plane goes off the runway, which I know it’s not realistic at all. The only way for me to prevent that is by using the regular brakes with reverse and spoilers. Do you know if it is a glitch, or can I fix this somehow?

I started fsx two days ago, and all, and i mean ALL the land was shown as water with autogen on top. I reainstalled 3 times, deleted the files, repaired the registry with the flight1 tool. I dont use UTX or any terrain mods for that matter. I did in past use terrain mods, but never UTX. I only have a couple payware planes. Specs: Phenom II X4 965 @4 GHz, 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, GTX 650 Overclocked w/ 2GB VRAM thanks-Morris

Hi, please apologize this possibly very often asked question ! I'm interested to hear what is the common practice when hand landing the 747-400 as you have to do e.g. at St. Maarten (TNCM) using auto throttle or not. My experience as PC pilot is of course that it can be very convenient because you get rid of some workload. But I want to know when it is recommended to do so or are there some issues maybe because safety is affected to be advised manually control throttle settings. Some information from the reality and common practice if there is one as well is appreciated. Thank you. regards Thomas Burchard

most likely, we all know how to perform this procedure with a direct approach eg LGRP, it would be something like this: but what if we don't have a direct approach? eg WPDL: rwy 08 course 075 and rwy 26 course 255,also please note we cannot circle south... if we need runway 26, we go straight to the VOR and and reaching rwy turn left onto the course 075 +045=120? then (this SOP for the airbus): but we will not have a downwind leg, since we have already passed the threshold in the first 30 seconds after turning 45 to the left... accordingly, how do we find the moment when we need to start chrono( 3sec\100ft from our alt)? and the second question is how to do it for runway 07?
