I have a MCP 737EL from CPflight which works perfecltly on the PMDG B737 NGX. If I want to use it on the B747 QOTS only the FD and the AT switches work. All the other selectors don't work. I did a hardware-check and it was working perfect. Is there a driver missing? What do I have to do to make it working?

Hi! Does anybody know where I can find a full size layout of the MCP without switches?

I installed the unregistered version of FSUIPC4(Ver4.84), Linda v1.11 with module 1.7 for NGX and FSX with SP2. If I used the VRi software, the MCP Combo II(Boeing) works. If I use Linda(do not run the VRi software), the panel lights blink when FSX starts, but I never get past the "Select your Aircraft and FLY Now" on the MCP LCD. No buttons or knobs work. Everything is green on the Linda GUI. The PMDG737NGX choosen in the LINDA GUI when I press FSX sync. Clicking the "Reload Lua Engine" gives me a status line on the FS display, but nothing changes. OS: Win7 64bit In FSUIPC.ini, I can find these two lines [VRInsight] 1=com3 no [Luafiles] and [MacroFiles] sections in that file. Appreciate any suggestions.

I remember there being someone in the forum that found a way to increase the rate of change of the HDG & CRS knobs on the MCP of the NGX. Is it possible to do this? If so how? Thanks.

Is there any documentation of the VRInsight MCP II Radio Commands? I can view the diagram in the MCP II Documentation but there is no explanation of the function. E.G is Comm a select of the comm? Where in the Radio function is Comm2 selected. When one looks at the Linda Window, there is no assignment to the Comm buttons. For example, the MCP II documentation shows Swap (<-->), AUX and Lights. What are these used for (I know swap switches primary and secondary frequencies, but how are they displayed? I can't seem to find any documentation on this section in either Linda or VRInsight documentation. Please help.

I'm not sure when this started, but at some point in my flight, all of the numbers on various gauges (MCP, radios, etc...) went dim. The autopilot ones appeared a bit brighter (but not much) after I turned off the dome light, which I had accidentally left on, but the radios are completely indiscernible. Any ideas?Thanks,boeing247

Hi everybody ! I just started using P3d V4 and i absolutley love it ! however i have some Trouble when it Comes to my Goflight MCP Pro. I searched everywhere but couldnt find an answer. Are the Project Opensky Planes using the Default FSX/P3d Autopilot Module ? Because somehow it didnt work for me with a 737-800 i downloaded. Does anyone know the keyboard command to open the MCP window with PMDG 737 ngx? I just want to assign a pushbutton to open and close the window. Thanks

Hello everybody, I hope you can help me with a problem. Since a while I use the mcp & efis from opencockpits with the PMDG 737NGX. Today I bought the FMC from opencockpits, and downloaded RKsoftware to let it run. The FMC runs fine, however, the MCP and EFIS are useless. The EFIS isn't functioning at all, and the MCP shows wrong digits, and when pressing a button on the mcp, it is pressing a different button on the MCP on FSX. I think there is a problem with the scripts, but I cant figure out what it is. I'm running the ''OCP4NGX_MCP-EFIS-CDU v1.05.ssi'' by the way. Thanks in advance! Niels

Hi All! I usually don't understand the basic terminology of forums so i'll try and keep it simple. I recently bought the FS2Crew version 2.3 for my PMDG 737 600-900 NGX and everything about it is great apart from a tiny problem I have with setting my MCP using voice commands eg"set heading two four eight" or "set altitude two thousand". If you have any ideas on the fix for this problem I would be extremely appreciative. Regards Calzie99

To make LINDA work with the PMDG P-8A Poseidon, all you have to do is add a single line to one of the configuration files. To do this, navigate to C:\...\<your FSX folder>\Modules\linda\aircrafts\PMDG 737NGX and open ident.lua with notepad. Below the line already present, add simfolder="PMDG 737" and save. Now LINDA (and thus the MCP Combo, should you have one) works with the PMDG P-8A Poseidon.

I cannot find any specific documentation on the AUX and Lights buttons. I have read that the base VRInsight MCP II product drives the radio section when Linda is used. But cannot find any specifics for the Lights and AUX buttons. They do not seem to work on my unit. Please HELP. I have another post dates April 27, 2016 that NO ONE has bothered to answer. Is LINDA no longer being supported. The basic VRInsisge documentation leaves much to be desired for detail.
