Hello. Not sure if this is the right area to post this. I just about have my new sim pit set up. Waiting on a new 27" monitor and have a used 24" monitor from the folks. My video card has two DVI connections. I just wanted to know, because I'm sure people have done this before, will it be possible to run a program like Plan-G on the smaller monitor and to run FSX on the larger monitor without running FSX in windowed mode? Is there anyway around this? Can I somehow tell Windows not to treat the other monitor like an extension of the desktop, but still get Plan-G to open on the smaller monitor or drag it there? I just really don't want the windowed outline that comes with windowed mode, it kills immersion. Maybe a silly question, but if I have to run it in windowed mode can I get rid of the outline somehow? I swear that I have seen someone run this setup online and not have the outline. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thought of sharing here as well, the bellow is from the LM P3D official forum (they are aware and looking for a solution as well): [WORKED] Back home and more testing and found out that as some had mentioned if the monitor 1 is not selected as main in the screen resolution menu but is used as the main monitor the FPS when undocking does not drop more then normal and the GPU keeps being used to its full potential! so here is how to make it work: 1. On the Screen Resolution selector in Windows click on monitor 2 and select Make this my min display check box 2. Here is the important part you NEED to start the P3D v2 from that now new main monitor, if you start frst and then switch the main it does not work and FPS drops and GPU drops 3. Once it is running you can move the p3d app into the main view monitor if it is not opening there already 4. After that you can move undocked around and even make you Monitor the main one again and things stay good. Note: there is always small drop on adding panels but not as it happens if you do not do this as the GPU drops for some reason. Hope you will buy time for all multi-display users until LM guys make a final solution. Enjoy v2 it is great!!! Best regards, Luis. (ORIGINAL) Dear P3DV2 team and community, Let me start by saying congratulations to you and team, the new version is great despite the points already stressed by many, very normal on development. I have been using v1.4 for since beginning and very happy with it. It is the base of my 737NG home cockpit, picture here: .... On the v 1.4 I use 3 monitors for it and get around 25-40 FPS depending if flying or ground and the complexity of the add on, I use all OrbX, many airports, etc. The monitors have 3 different resolutions depending on their use and since v1.4 is heavy on the CPU side all runs well, very smooth. Computer: i7 CPU, nVidia GTX770 w 4 Gb, 8 Gb of DDR3 Ram. On the v 2.0 I tried on one the main monitor, 2560x1440, all other things similar, same plane a heavy one, in terms of add on and most settings to max and I am getting 50-60 FPS, great!!! Issue comes when I move detached windows to represent the 737 instruments to my cockpit, multiple displays, then the system goes to a halt, show 3-7 FPS but then I cannot even use anything, even difficult to get to menus and shut all down having to quit the service to close. Off course I understand that now all the load went to the GPU, but still it makes it not viable for a set-up like mine, and for sure many other people with own cockpits using multiple displays. It would be good to find some balance and maybe load a bit more as well on the CPU or have setting options to make it even more possible to adapt to each case. For now only option for me is to stick with the 1.4. I hope you and team can consider some options for cockpit users. Anyone else having difficulties with Multiple monitors use in V2???? Best regards, Luis.

Hello all I am building a new system to run P3D V3 w/ ASN, REX texture Direct + Soft Clouds (Soon to be SKYFORCE 3D), multiple high detail aircraft addons (PMDG,A2A, Flight1, Carenado, etc), orbx and the list goes on. Here is my parts list http://pcpartpicker.com/list/pqNJVY I have a question regarding the capabilties of my graphics setup. My 6700K CPU is from silicon lottery pre-binned and delidded running OC at 4.9Ghz stable so i shouldn't have CPU limitations and the resolution will be 11520x2160 Triple 4k 50" TV's and 2 x ASUS GTX 1080 Strix Cards OC'd in High Bandwidth (HB) SLI (Nvidia SLI HB Bridge) 1.) Can this setup operate p3d visuals around 30 fps? Preferably high to very high quality note: I use FSDT, Fly Tampa, and Flightbeam airports with GSX active also use ORBX Base, Vector, and NA Gold & Blue 2.) Outside of being too costly is there any modifications that need to be completed prior to ordering everything? Thanks, Ben
