  1. Hi all. I'm currently having an issue at busy European airports (Heathrow and Paris being the one's I've seen this in thus far). Namely there will be a sudden CTD. Each time it generally has this error log or some variation therein. I use AIG traffic, PMDG 777, and AI Companion. I'm not strictly sure where to go with this. Previous pages on the forums relate to P3D V3 and one fix is to use it in compatibility mode for windows 8, but I don't know if that will lead to performance loss, which is an issue I've been dealing on and off with for a bit. Signed Jon.

  3. Hi everybody! I couldn't find any solution for this issue on the internet so in my desperation I ask some help with this. I have run a lot of tests to figure out what causes the exact problem of my FSX fatal error at gate arrivals of each flight. I experienced that the problem always caused by FSPassengers, but only under DX10. I use Steve's DX10 fixer and scenery addons, but when I make flights in DX9 mode there isn't any crashes. I don't understand the connection between FSP and DX10... It causes ntdll.dll error, the event viewer's message is the following: fsx.exe 10.0.61472.0 475e17d3 ntdll.dll 6.1.7601.18247 521ea8e7 c0000005 0003a74b a94 01cf2be187df1ee4 C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ntdll.dll fcd681cc-97eb-11e3-8a26-d43d7e9128f2 System error codes is not my cup of tea so I write my system specs, maybe it helps: MSI Z77 MPower I7 3770K at default clock MSI GTX680 Lightning Avexir 16 GB DDR3 1600MHz Windows 7 x64 I would be glad if someone could give suggestion or solution for my problem. Thanks in advance.
  4. If FSX freezes in flight, it might show an AppCrashView report showing BEX/StackHash and/or NTDLL.dll as the faulting modules, sometimes these crashes will alternate between the faulting module as StackHash and NTDLL.dll. This has been traced by me to an access violation. It happens because your user account is not shared with the main FSX folder. Some have fixed this (or they think they have fixed it) by installing FSX outside of the C:/Program Files (x86) folder (i.e., in something like C:\FSX). You don't have to do this and can keep FSX/P3D in the default Program Files (x86) folder. You can fix these types of crashes by downloading and installing a simple program called Take Ownership - http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/ (for Vista/Windows 7 users) and here's a tutorial for Windows 8, 8.1 users - http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2814-take-ownership-add-context-menu-windows-8-a.html. Once installed, you simply go to the main FSX folder, right click it and select Take Ownership in the context Menu. The CMD window will show up and begin giving you (the user) ownership of the Main FSX directory and all subfolders (if you are not the Administrator, you will need to know the Administrator's password. Be careful as the CMD window will appear to stop running and you might think it has finished its tasks but do not close it and wait until the CMD Window closes. It will do this on its own once the task is completed. If you have a utility, like ASN, AS2012, OPUS, REX, etc., make sure you take ownership of these programs too (if they are in your main FSX folder, this will be done but some install their weather program to another drive. I have found this fix will work 100% of the time or at least it did for me. This "fix" will be published in the next version of the AVSIM CTD Guide. Best regards,
  5. My FSX De Luxe +SP1+SP2, reinstalled in C:\FSX folder keeps crashing randomly.Set up :Processor - Intel® Core™ 2 CPU [email protected] 2.66hzRam - 4,00GBSystem - Win 7 Home Premium 32 bitGraphics - Nvidia 8800GTX, driver version 285.62Following forum ideas have used FSXfix and installed UIAutomationCore.dll version 6.0.6001.1800 in FSX folder. After a crash Event Viewer states :Application name - fsx.exeFault module name - ntdll.dllFault module vers. - 6.1.7601.17514Any comments how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.PS. 6. Hi all, Long-time lurker, second-time poster. For the past year or so, I've been having regular CTDs of my FSX-SE install, usually fatal errors, and most often citing NTDLL.DLL as the faulty module (others, though not as frequent, have included terrain.dll, g3d.dll, etc.). I've been able to resolve them on specific recurring flights (e.g., where the crash would happen at a certain point on the same flight and the same aircraft) through various means, including (but not limited to): Switching from FSX to FSX-SE; Deleting my fsx.cfg, rewriting it and then changing certain key settings (e.g., display, wideview, and others) back to where they were, but leaving everything else the same; and Reverting to the 2012 schedule in MyTraffic X (MTX) 5.4c (after reading that this could be an issue in the AVSIM CTD guide). Each of these has fixed the problem temporarily before it rears its ugly head again. Most recently, I did the MTX fix above after continually getting crashes in the same place on a KDCA-KORD flight using a freeware 737-700. But when I wanted to do a KDCA-KMVY flight on the JF XP 800A this weeked, the sim consistently crashes at about the same point (right after I reach cruising altitude, and just about to cross the MD-DE border). I tried deleting and rewriting the fsx.cfg this morning, but even that didn't fix it (I've been able to replicate this crash four times, both before and after the attempted cfg fix). My specs are below: Intel Core i7-4790 3.6 Ghz 16G RAM NVidia Geforce GTX 970 (344.16 drivers) WIN 7 64 Bit SP1 FSX-SE is installed on a 100 GB SSD, but with all addons is taking up almost the entire disk. The install includes: REX Essential Plus Overdrive FTX Global + Vectors MyTrafficX 5.4c (running Autumn 2012 schedule; see above) Various payware and freeware aircraft and sceneries. I've had a look at the CTD Guide and searched these forums, but none of the fixes I've tried seem to work. It looks like my returns and possible fixes are dwindling, so here I am... anyone have any pointers on what's going on and how I can resolve this? I really just want to enjoy my sim and don't have hours upon end to explore these issues. Here's the most recent crashlog: Many thanks in advance to the much more experienced and smarter FSX wizards here who might be able to take a look and advise! A lot of drinks are on me if you are able to get my sim running... J.
