Hi all I hope you can help a complete newbie here. I am looking to build an overhead panel for the Aerosoft Airbus A318,A319,A320,A321. I have a lot of questions to ask you all. First off, for switches like ON OFF am I right in using SPST switches? E.g. landing gear Secondly, for switches such as, ON AUTO OFF. What switches do I use? Links? Does the full version of FSUIPC come with the mouse macro function? If so does it work with the Aerosoft Airbus? Also, does anyone have any links to a useful FSUIPC video using the mouse macro and the ON AUTO OFF switches? These are all the questions I can think of at the moment, although im sure there are many more to come Thanks a lot! I'd appreciate the help!

I was hoping that a fellow avsim member could clarify these 2 questions for me. Oh I am building a Overhead for 737NG I have several 737-800 Overhead panel diagrams and the toggle switch types are not the same so I am a little confused. Which overhead switches on the overhead of a 737NG are MON-OFF-MON toggle Switches? Which overhead switches on the overhead of a 737NG are ON-OFF-ON toggle Switches? Any and all help is needed. Dear Simmers, I'm just curious in what the most 737 cockpit builders are interested to. QUESTION: What are you looking for if you were to buy an 737NG Overhead panel? ( considering cost and quality ) 1° An overhead panel which is fully operational ( Plug n' Play ) => Very High cost, No work 2° An overhead panel which is standard fully operational ( Plug n' Play with less attention to detail ) => High cost, No work 3° An overhead panel which I bought online without any buttons, gauges, switches so you have to make it yourself => Medium cost, A lot of work 4° An overhead panel of which I bought every part ( 18 panels ) separately and assembled myself => High Medium cost, Work 5° An overhead panel which I fully made myself ( with wood, own structure ) => Low Medium cost, Huge amount of Work 6° An overhead panel which I bought second-hand ( fully working ) => Average High Medium cost, almost no work Please state your answer, I would love some opinion on this matter since al those internet websites offer various types which come at sometimes very high prices ( +- 6000 euros ) What are YOU looking for in an O/H panel if you opt to buy one? Hey there guys so I am looking to start building my overhead for my 737 cockpit. I have a really good build guide thanks to Brenden! This is a link to his 22 video setup from start to finish. He has been a great help and what he did was very affective! I don't think anyone can really get that good of a overhead without spending over $1000+ or atleast as far as I have seen. The plexiglass method seems to be interesting and creative, so unless has other good ideas that is what I am going with as for now. As for finding a board(s) I have looked all over the Internet at all different options and here are a few. I also want to spend the least amount of money so I don't know which ones are paticularly good. Brenden on his sim used 5 Leo cards and at $85 (approx.) a piece thats about $425 which seams really expensive but who knows thats a good looking board that he developed. My main thought is leaning towards the FDS board because they have created many good looking and lasting products. And I think I might just return my Saitek and buy the FDS-FC1 Flight Control Interface and build my own joystick! But thats another battle another day... Anyway thanks guys! Cheers, Vanka
