Anyone getting this much tiling effect with their FTX Global? It is all up to date...I see this a lot. Picture was taken over northern Italy however it is virtually everywhere in Europe and N.A. For $100 it really annoys me....Maybe I should re-install? The order of which I installed was as follows.... GLobal>Vector>FS Global2010 (FTX) One day however I do recall doing some tests and un-checking the ORBX Base scenery layers in my scenery library.....But then I checked it back on...Maybe this was what messed it up? Anybody else?

Bummer <_< I really don't know if I should buy the CS777 for P3Dv2 or keep waiting for this new agreement between the two parties to be in effect. What are you going to do or how much longer will you wait it out?

Has anyone got FSUIPC running in v2.2 configured to SLI using AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe to start the sim? I have tried but FSUIPC shows Not Registered. If I go back to Prepr3D.exe then FSUIPC is showing as registered. This is a particular problem with aircraft like the Black Box Airbus which need FSUIPC. I have asked Pete but have not found the answer yet? Mac EDIT: OK I have an answer from Pete. Make sure you are running FSUIPC v 4.931. First run P3D in SLI mode and confirm that FSUIPC is NOT registered. This will create two files FSUIPC4.AFR-FriendlyD3D.ini.and FSUIPC4.AFR-FriendlyD3D.log. Go to ../Locheed Martin/Prepar3D v2/Modules/and confirm the two files have been created. Now copy and paste the file FSUIPC4.key. Finally change the name of the new/pasted file to FSUIPC4.AFR-FriendlyD3D.key. Thats it. Start the sim in SLI and you should be good to fly.

G'day all. I decided the challenge of the BB Airbus might just be worth trying but I have hit a brick wall. I feel I have carefull read the Tutorial, loaded the FMC/MCDU correctly, installed the correct FSUIPC version and fueled up correctly. But I can not get the Austo Pilot to engage and very soon my Airbus goes round in ever decreasing circles and returns to the ground. CRASH. Some have said they have got this bird flying in P3D v2.2, so could you tell me how please? Thanks Mac

Couple questions before purchasing. I currently have a 3930k OC@ 4.4Ghz I just had the luck to be able to get my hands on a motherboard from work for a great, great price and I couldn't resist. Its just that my 3930k does not fit the socket of this board (ASUS P8Z77-ws). My Problem: The board I currently own is from a stock Alienware rig I picked up a couple years back and I haven't changed it since my purchase. My current board only has one slot for 1 GPU and I'm looking to pick up a 2nd GTX 780 for when P3D v2.x eventually gets SLI support. So what I need help with is, should I put in this ASUS board I got from work and buy a 4770k or keep my existing 3930k and buy a board that has SLI support for my second GFX card that I am eventually getting. Which proc is better OC'd and which is better for simming? What would you do? I am leaving the office in a few hours and I know I will be picking something up lol

Stepping up to the LM hack and enabling SLI compatibility has been truly amazing. Adding AffinityMask=1364 for my rig added the icing to the cake. Very well worth aspiring to. This thread tells how to apply the hack. http://www.prepar3d.com/forum-5/?mingleforumaction=viewtopic&t=6352 Mac

It would be great to discuss what users have done to achieve their personal best Vsync settings. Wether its NI or CP to see what really has worked for you the best till this point. Recently I tried the settings from a great topic that was started from Crauchan here. I got amazing Vsync results, however my AA and shimmering where simply intolerable since I wasn't using NI. I needed to go back to NI and take the hit on frames so I can get a good anti-aliasing. I played with my Vsync settings my best Vsync settings are currently: (NI) Adaptive and Force On In the P3D v2.2 menus I have Vsync active and checked triple buffer with unlimated frames. What settings do you currently have that achieves the smoothest sim for you? NI? Control Panel? Unlimited? I understand there's a lot of topics/discussions on this but not one where everyone just puts their best Vsync settings. It would be nice to organize it here. Thanks!
