Hello you all, After lovely 6 years with the great Saitek Rudder Pedals, once I had landed suddenly there was a "Click" sound from it. It felt like the left pedal lost its spring. So when I opened it, there was a spring not in his place, and a broken hook shape plastic. After a quick exam of the situation I understood that I have to find a new part: The part who connect between the spring and the potentiometer. There are photos of the rudder and the broken hook. If someone, please, can help me find the part. there is no spare parts shop for Saitek. If I have to, I'll pay for it. Thank you very much.

I recently purchased the Saitek Cessna rudder pedals from Amazon warehouse deals. I got a really good price on them, but plugged them in and quickly noticed the right toe brake is not working. Everything else functions perfectly. I am a bit reluctant to return them and pay an extra £50 for brand new ones when my instinct tells me this issue can be fixed. Is it worth opening them up and trying to fix them? Maybe this is a known issue that someone can offer some input on? Many thanks Oliver

Hello, I have brakes, both left and right set to joystick trigger button (Logitech X-52 Professional) and it works, but there is about a second worth of delay before brakes take effect and braking action starts. This also happens visually. When I press the brakes, the pedals in VC twitch a bit and then gradually go down. This makes speed control rather difficult and unpredictable. Is anyone else experiencing this or know of a solution?

Hi, After a 2 year break from FSX, 5/6 months ago I decided to get back in again. I purchased FSX:SE, but soon found that my Saitek Cyborg X was well and truly broken (Constant spiking of nearly every axis). I was somewhat unimpressed with how my Saitek product lasted, and as an avid racing fan and owning the Logitech G27 as well as various other Logitech products, and with their reputation for quality I brought the Extreme 3D Pro, to tie me over. Whilst I am incredibly impressed by the Logitech - the only thing I dislike is the little throttle, I feel as though this is not realistic, and I struggle to get a full grasp of what my aircraft is doing. I mainly fly the PMDG NGX and the A2A C172, both of which are amazing aircraft, and they both use a yoke. So I'd like to know what is the best controller I can get ? I am currently learning to be a private pilot, so realism is key, but what is the best? My budget isn't huge, but I'm willing to pay for quality. I see saitek are the front runners, but with my previous experiences I'm not overly confident. I look forward to your help! Kind Regards George Hunt

Hi guys, I am trying to buy some pedals, I was thinkin on SAITEK combat pedals but then I found many forums saying that it has a confilct with Warthog Thrustmaster joystick, which I own, the conflict seems to appear with PMDG NGX using warthog and the saitek pedals, any have any experiewnce to confirm this? if that the case which other rudder pedals will you recommend?

I've been running Flight since it was released with my Saitek X52Pro stick and throttle but I'd like to have the choice between stick and yoke depending on which aircraft I'm in at the time. I've been looking at the Saitek and Ch Products yoke and pedals but they both seem very similar in their build quality and as I can't find a local store that will allow me to try them both it's difficult to decide one way or the other. Can anyone give a recomendation as to which system is the better of the two or, indeed, any other system that is worthy of consideration. Thanks for your time. --------------------------------------------- Chocks away and into the blue... BR

My Saitek Pro Flight pedals appear to have come to the end of their life, and I'm now looking for a replacement. I'm particularly interested in the Saitek Cessna pedals, but i'd like to hear actual users' experiences. I have a couple questions: 1) Is the movement smooth? The Pro Flight ones were a bit sticky, not enough to prevent me from using them, but annoying nevertheless. 2) Do the pedals have any sideways play? Again, the Pro Flights do, and while it isn't a big problem, it's pissing me off as well. 3) Are they reliable and do the axes stay exactly where you leave them? Also, how are the deadzones? My pedals' rudder axis has a tendency to start drifting to the left if left untouched (this is actually the reason I'm looking for new pedals - the rudder axis pot is broken in some way) and the brakes have huge deadzones at the beginning of the range, requiring me to set them up with FSUIPC to avoid the jump from 0% to 25% or so when coming out of the deadzone. Of course, I'm also open to suggestions - pretty much anything that costs less than, say, $250 will do as long as they work as expected.

Just picked up these bad boys! First of all, a little background... A few years back, I had a set of CH Pedals. I used them for IL2 and WWIIOnline. I thought they were "OK", but too close together and a bit...clunky. Eventually I sold them and about 3 years ago I got heavily into DCS World (The A-10c to be specific) and I bought a set of Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals. I liked the size and width a lot better than the CH and they felt more substantial being metal pedals (went nice with my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog ) but the downsides were they were freezing in the winter when flying in socks and again, I couldn't shake the feeling that they were...clunky. After about a year, I sold those too. Around six months ago, I got back into simming (FSX) and while I still had my Warthog, I didn't have a set of pedals. I had planned to buy another set of Saitek Combats or Saitek Cessnas (being that the only difference is the pedals themselves.) until I came across the MFG Crosswinds. Admittedly, they aren't cheap (they cost as much as the Warthog) but I started to see rave reviews about them on various forums. I sent Milan (the guy who makes them in Croatia) an email and he told me he was back ordered until March 2015 but I could put my name down for a preorder. I'm not normally the patient type, but I wanted a set of Rudder Pedals of the same quality as the Warthog and something that would last me just as long. After what seemed like an age of waiting, I got an email earlier this week to say my pedals were ready to be sent! I've literally just got back from picking the package up, assembled the pedals (a very easy and quick process) plugged them in, quick calibration and flew a circuit in the RealAir Turbine Duke V2. I have to say, they're absolutely amazing. The build quality is great, there's a nice weight to them (I did a bit of research and discovered they're made from a material called HPL) and there are a ton of options for adjusting the spring tension, angle of the pedals, foot brake tension. There's also an option to swap out the 'cam profile' which affects how much of a centre detent you experience. I opted for CAM5 which is basically zero centre detent. They're incredibly smooth and no noise. And the 'clunkiness' of my previous pedals is completely eliminated from the Crosswinds. Apologies for the crappy cell-phone pics. Milan mentioned a few months back that he may change the white colour to more of a grey but that he would create a small batch of pure white for anyone who wanted that option. So I got a set of the pure white ones...I just love that two tone white and black I can't think why.... ^_^ Feel free to ask me any questions!
