  1. Just reading about the BBS A330, went to check, and surprise: The PSS A32x, B757 and B777 for FS9 are now at €9.99. And with the Euro going down... http://www.blackboxsimulation.com/index.php/products/fs-2004/ Enjoy!
  2. Michael at Jaggyroad Films decided to create something the other day for Memorial Day. We're a bit late posting this as we ran into a few technical issues along the way, but here it is. We hope you like it.
  3. Hey guys, I am very happy to announce that I have opened a VA with 2 other aviation enthusiasts. We have everything from planes, from the super modern to the old DC-6, Sud Aviation Caravelle, and the DC-8. We consist of 4 airlines, the main airline is Phoenix Airways. we also have real airlines that suffer from bankruptcy, so we have brought virtual 3 airlives to life, while the world-famous Swissair (not SWISS) would be the German LTU and the Ukrainian AeroSvit! we are currently in the process of updating the TWA flight plans! If you want to know more about us, feel free to visit our Discord server: https://discord.gg/bF4Fr79 or visit our website, which we are in the process of expanding: http://phoenix-airways-va.ch/index.php/ We look forward to you!
  4. With over 700+ real world airline schedules, enjoy the freedom to fly anywhere, and just about anything with Phoenix Virtual Airways! NEW YORK, New York (August 29, 2012) - In the largest scheduling update so far in their nearly three year history, Phoenix Virtual Airways has added all regularly scheduled flights from the Summer 2012 season. PVA now operates the largest and most complete virtual airline schedule available with daily flights representing 720 airlines worldwide. Pilots of PVA can fly 2,350 aircraft to 3,550 destinations, many matching what can be found on popular flight tracking web sites like Flightaware.com. "This was a huge update and a great effort from all of our staff," stated CEO Michael Moro. "Our goal has always been to offer a simulation of all airlines in the world, and with these changes we have met that goal. Now our goal will be to keep the schedules updated on a seasonal basis." "The first challenge was sourcing the data; then we had to make that data work within our system," remarked Dustin Abell, Executive Vice President Operations. "There were a number of changes that had to be made such as coming up with a way for the same flight number to be used on multiple legs--something the base PVA system didn't support." Some notable new aircraft include a C-130 cargo fleet, DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-3 Otter, DHC-4 Caribou, Cessna Citation Jets, Boeing 787, Ilyushin IL-76, many flights in Beech, Piper and Cessna light aircraft, and more. Alaskan bush flying is also available now as many little strips and seaplane bases have been added for the DHC aircraft. All of this is in addition to the standard fleet of Boeing, Airbus, Embraer and Bombardier aircraft. PVA pilots can transfer up to 150 hours of previous flight experience to start at the level of Captain. This level allows a pilot to fly all of the light aircraft up to narrow body aircraft like the Boeing 737, MD-80 series and Airbus A320. Additional aircraft become available as the pilot acquires more flight time with eleven total ranks currently available to give a sense of accomplishment. In addition to the aircraft and ranks, PVA maintains regular contests and events as well as a vibrant forum community. Phoenix Virtual Airways provides virtual flight crew services to over 700 airlines serving over 3,500 destinations worldwide. Built using a custom Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) and phpVMS, Phoenix Virtual Airways is a leader in virtual airline automation and realism. Flight Simulator pilots using either FS9 or FSX are encouraged to become part of their community of fun loving, dedicated, flight simulator fans. Find out more by visiting the PVA web site at http://www.phoenixva.org.
  5. Aeroplane Heaven's bonus model of the 'Phoenix', which is built from the wreckage of the C-82 Packet forced down in the Sahara Desert en route to Benghazi, in the 1965 movie The Flight of the Phoenix. This is AH's first stab at adding PBR textures to a released model and they've done a nice job of it. The Phoenix model in the flight sim actually has a working Coffman starter, complete with a limited supply of cartridges, so you can see if you could get it going like in the climactic scene toward the end of the movie...

  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQS8-MNWAdw With more than nine-teen thousand operations and more than forty million people yearly it is no surprise that Phoenix Sky Harbor is the ninth busiest airport in the US and twenty third busiest in the world. Harsh monsoons can plague Phoenix from July to September and raging sand storms bring all air traffic to an abrupt and grinding halt. With these hazardous weather conditions and the amount of traffic that Phoenix receives daily it is not surprising that Phoenix gets overloaded. The Phoenix Tracon and Local control are ready for the onslaught of traffic. So...are you up to the task of overloading? Join the Albuquerque ARTCC December 1st from 7EST-11EST (2359Z-0400Z) to see if you have what is takes to overload Phoenix. Please read over the pilot briefing to be familiar with Phoenix procedures and what you can expect from the controllers and what the controllers expect from you: http://zabartcc.org/....lot Brief.pdf" Terminal Charts: http://www.airnav.co...m/airport/KPHX" Enroute Charts: http://skyvector.com/" Will you be there?
  8. Hi :) The Phoenix Air Phoenix is a Czech low-wing, two-seat motor glider (powered by a Rotax 921 ULS engine), designed and produced by Phoenix Air (http://www.phoenixair.cz - developed by Martin Stepaneck) and provided as a complete ready-to-fly aircraft. The Phoenix was designed to comply with the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale microlight rules and US light-sport aircraft rules. This will be my second real-aircraft project in the LSA category (first was the Aeropro EuroFOX), and it will cover the Phoenix variants (U-15, D-14). The Initial version of the add-on for X-Plane is aimed to be released during March 2017. The project's page is under development and in a week or two it will begin to expand with lots of information, screenshots etc... Here is a link to the project's page: http://www.vskylabs.com/2017/02/vskylabs-phoenix-air-phoenix-lsa.html (I will post update in this topic also...). Here are a few screenshots (the project is ** UNDER DEVELOPMENT **...3D model is yet to be in its final configuration and details...of course...).
