Hi, so I recently re-installed my pc and all of my flightsim stuff needed updating anyway. About a year and a half ago I purchased the PMDG 737 NGX of Amazon, it is the full proper version and comes with a registration key aswell, However to update to the new version of the 737 I need to have signed up to their customer databases which i am not. quotation from the website: Service Pack 1d Now Available PMDG has released Service Pack 1d for existing owners of the PMDG 737-800/900 NGX Base Package that adds the ability to install into FSX Steam Edition as well as bug fixes and weather radar functionality. Hello, I have a question for the pros. During an ILS landing using my PMDG 737 at 100 feet above the touch down zone on the runway my plane suddenly drops onto the runway. Any clues as to why this is happening? Thank you, Dave

Hello, I know the PMDG 737's FMC is very realistic but today, i have a big problem. I have watch this video : about the real FMCS and I think it is impossible to do the same thing. For exemple how to create a false waypoint with its coordinates in NAV DATA page ?thanks a lot

Ok im ripping my hair out, I was using flight simulator x just fine a day ago, then I was just screwing around with some settings of start up state in the pmdg 737 and now suddenly it starts up in this weird blend of cold and dark and default. Before you say it, I know, I should be able to turn on the pmdg 737 from cold and dark but I dont, and to be perfectly honest have no intention of learning. It is of no use to me. MY QUESTION: How to make ALL planes start up in the default engines on irs aligened and so on, how do you set so it all goes back to default setup. Thanks, isaac

Hi all, I am just wondering what systems activate when you first enable ground power from a cold 'n dark cockpit in PMDG's 737NGX? There seems to be a lot of noise in the cockpit with the engines, APU, packs/fans, pumps etc all turned off... Just curious is all. Is it really like this in the real 737? Would love to know. Thanks

Lately I have been having troubles with my computer. I have the PMDG 737NGX 600-900 for FSX. I tried to fix my computer myself with almost success but then something happened. I had to reinstall my PMDG product and all the other payware addons I have. After that it worked fine, but then something happened and I was forced to take my computer in where they reset the computer and deleted everything but backed up most of my stuff and put it back in. I used to downloaded thing to be able to reinstall my addon but since they deleted all that, I can't do that anymore. I still have the aircraft but it is glitched so it is unflyable. I tried to find the download URL but it had expired. I have no way of downloading my PMDG 737NGX 600-900 anymore. I need help. This is one of my favourite aircraft. Help you be greatly appreciated.

I fly for Southwest Virtual using FSX and really would love to have the Lonestar One livery on my 800. A fantastic recreation was put on the 700 Evolve but I don't fly the 700 model, only the 800 with winglets. I tried my hand at painting it myself using the PMDG Repait Kit and got halfway through then the rest of the How-To blew my mind. That whole splitting of the fuselage into 3 parts thing is confusing me. If anyone out there in repaint land can rock this for me I would be your best pal forever. .

Hello everyone, Its been a while since Iv'e posted a topic on AVSIM and this time I'm a little confused on the 'Minimums' callout upon landing. I already know that the Minimums is the lowest altitude you can get before touching down on the runway (correct me if I'm wrong). However, I was watching a video and the guy in it was landing and while doing so, said that he forgot to set the minimums and began to do that. I never knew you had to set minimums. So the question is: How do I know my minimums and how to set them (on the 737 like PMDG)? Please answer clearly so I don't get a headache while reading it Thanks for your answer, JWMuller

Hello all, Ever since I've used EZdok with the NGX (which is awesome) the camera view for the PIC is not in the correct position and makes the HUD display itself get cut off when in certain modes. I've tried editing the camera within FSX but when I do it only jumps around, not moves smoothly, and doesn't help the problem. This is especially frustrating, especially when using AIII mode, that I cannot see the HGS and the information it provides. Currently my options are too much to the left, or too much to the right. I was also wondering if I could just edit the POV config file to move it without jumping 10 coordinates instead of 1. Any chance I could do that?

Hello, I have been using a joystick with my sim but I would like to switch to a yoke / pedals / throttle set up. The PMDG 737 is the only aircraft that I use on my sim so I would like to get some opinions on which yokes are best for the PMDG? Thank you!

Hello, On my last few flights I have noticed that the compass appears to be "off" or "out of alignment". In other words, the compass sits sideways / off camber for the entire duration of the flight as if it has failed, is off, or has malfunctioned. The weird thing is that the compass still rotates and accurately indicates the current heading while in flight. I have checked in the FMC for any service failures and there are none active in any system. Any thoughts or ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you,

When I load my PMDG 737 into a free flight it always goes into 3d cockpit view instead of the 2D which it states it needs to boot up in. I have the setting to load it up in the 2D cockpit but it still won't do it. Even with my keys I assigned it still won't open FS2Crew and I have run out of ideas to fix this issue.

I had just finished a first flight test with the PMDG 737 and Ezdok camera today and when I went to restart fsx I had gotten the "FSX has detected a problem with a third party add-on error" (FSpassangers) I reinstalled FSpassangers but still the same problem . what can I do to get FSpax working again on FSX?

My joyful exploration of OrbX Papua New Guinea scenery goes sour when AS2016 starts to inject some really awful live weather.. First clip is at 14000 in the RealAir Duke Turbine. I fly through a lightning cloud and BANG partial instrument failures. All radios/GPS non-functional and planes engine instruments all lock up. FSX had NOT crashed though and the plane was still 'manageable'. I started streaming on Twitch at this this point as I thought it might get 'interesting'. After finding my way through the storm, landing at "The World's Most Boring FSX Default Aiport' I continued to a bigger airport (offline) and loaded up the PMDG 737-600 for what I believed would be a less stressful leg to my final destination. How wrong i was to be.. Apologies and disclaimers first: 1) Quality of next clip, even though recorded at same Twitch settings as the above reasonable one is 'potato' camera level. If it wasn't for keeping a record of this stressful 'flight' i would have deleted it already. The previous Duke clip also looked like this at first but seemed to come alive later, so if this one improves I will repost. Watch it on a phone and you should be ok! 2) Bad language, lots of it and often. I can only say that what I was seeing my end, with OrbX/PMDG737/AS 2016 running over 20fps mostly on a 55 inch 4k tv with 2x 1080p side monitors, I was 'there'. One of those sim moments when you forget you are at a warm cozy desktop with beer freely available and 'become' the desperate but determined aviator trying to overcome all obstacles. These 2 clips are taken from a 5 hour long ordeal flying through terrible weather, so when you hear my 'colorful' screams at the end please have sympathy for my condition! Clip contains: Multiple aborted landings, not helped by FSX crash detection which doesn't allow for the fact that in extreme weather 'hard' landings are actually common with airliners to make them stick to the runway and land safely. Tires are replaceable, people are not. Diversions to TWO other airports (fuel running very low). All manual approaches as no charts or procedures available for any of the destinations (I would have died to have seen an ILS on the arrivals page in this weather) Eventual fuel starvation on base turn after go around (AFTER I had stated loudly that I would have only one shot at this landing due to low fuel level) An incredible ending (hyperbole justified for once?). I think i will go away and read my PMDG FOMs again as I can be seen having problems getting the plane to descend and climb at times, forgetting the 1 MCP mistake.

Texas, my home state, out near El Paso using MegaSceneryEarth v2.0 West Texas add-on and FS Global Ultimate North American terrain mesh. Mesh and Texture detail set to max in FSX. Spiced up with Shade and SweetFX 1.5 with custom INI, spread across a triple monitor setup @ 5760 x 1080, 30 FPS locked, no stutters.

I recently got the pmdg 737 but i would like to be able to plan my own routes but have had no luck in finding a more general tutorial nor am i able to find charts for airports so that i can find the SID and/or Stars to use. Ex. i want to fly from Hobby (KHOU) to Dallas Love(KDAL), I was able to find the nav points that are used on this flight, but i have no idea how to enter them. What i have is KHOU.STELL2.CQY.DUMPY2.KDAL. I would like to take off from runway 4 at Hobby(KHOU) and land at 31R at Dallas(KDAL).

Still new to the 737 and learning, ive been on the a32nx and CRJ Every time ive been on an ILS approach with the 737, its approached way too high, than at the end just completely gone above the target altitude, even though the diamond to indicate your approach says its perfect. In another forum they said this was the plane automatically doing a go around at a non-auto land capable airport/minimums. Ive tried auto land capable airports and tried lowering/changing minimums but nothing works, and the plane goes above the approach way before the minimums is even called, any help? Thanks!

I bought the PMDG 737-800/900 from the official PMDG website, and it has been working properly for the first 2 months or so. (I play on FSX:SE) Around 2 weeks ago a problem started occurring. On (some) flights, (maybe something like 2 in 5 flights) the virtual cockpit stops responding to my mouse clicks mid-flight wile cruising. The 2D panels work fine, but the 2D cockpit looks something like this: (thanks @qantas747) I literally can't use anything while in VC. I tried changing camera views using (A) and getting an outside view of the aircraft then going back in, but nothing worked. I tried changing to full screen since I play in windowed mode, and it was responsive again. But once I clicked on one button, it would go back to unresponsive mode. I changed back to windowed mode and the same thing happened. But once I changed to full screen again it would stay unresponsive no matter how many times I switched between the two modes. The same problem happens if I change the scenery while already loaded in-game. This problem is way too annoying and even more frustrating because I play online nowadays. If I play offline its not too big of a deal as I can save the flight, exit the game, relaunch the game, load the flight again and it would work. It is still frustrating either way. I have already submitted a ticket, but would like to hear your opinions.

Hello everyone, Can you please share what is in your experience the best combination of add-ins to run along with the PMDG 737 NGX. What I really mean is when you start the FSX which third party software add-ins are you running along with the PMDG 737 for the best experience. My personal combination of add-ins are as follows (ranked by the starting order): 1. Active Sky Next 2. FlyUk virtual SkyTrack for chosing the route 3. Navigraph Charts for SID AND STAR 4. TOPCAT - not always 5. FSX-SE - GSX - PMDG 737 Wish you all clear skies Marko

After downloading the new update for my PMDG 737NGX I immediately bought ASN because I wanted to use the new weather radar. However, when I turn the weather radar on and am flying in conditions in which there should most definitely have some precipitation showing up I get nothing. I have ASN on and connected to my Flight sim while flying. I also encountered a few other problems. First, whenever I do my normal startup procedures just as I used to before the update I get a Master Caution warning saying "Fuel" yet I am certain nothing is wrong. Also the ASN frequencies 122.02 and 122.05 usually don't work even though 122.00 works just fine. Thanks for the help, Avery Hammerman
