Greetings everyone! The 747-400 is much more complicated than the in-game default 747 that microsoft provides. I am able to control those birds and have them obey the speed restriction while they are under 10000 ft. The PMDG, however, immediately begins accelerating to cruise speed. Both LNAV and VNAV are illuminated and TO/GA is activated shortly after taking flight. In the FMC, I have my speed/trans set at 250/10000 and my speed/rest left blank. Should I input something into speed/rest or does that limit something else? Thanks for any help! --ButtahNBred

hello guys, since i am new to the forum and also to the pmdg community i may be asking a silly question which just cannot get out of my mind since im about to buy the pmdg 777. i use pmdg 747 for fs9 and just recently matered its fmc and will soon be converting to fsx. so what i had in my mind was that whether the fmc programming on the 777 is broadly similar to the 747 or completely diffenrent in all aspects.

Evening Captains, For those that have issues in validating your newly purchased PMDG 747-400x, e.g Unable to validate your information..... this might be cause by your firewall... message.. What I do is change my password in the ecommerce PMDG section (your account you use to purchase) and make a new password, with out any symbols in it (my previous password has symbols in it), save, and re-download your file (s) other then that, make sure: 1. firewall/ antivirus is friendly/ off 2. just make sure you run as Administrator (which I'm sure you are) just to cover all the bases..
