What could say more about you than a YouTube video of yourself, your favorites, your sim, your cockpit, your coin collection, your very rare bulikula, than a movie in your Profile. We are pleased to announce that you can now add a YouTube video to your profile for all to see when they check you out. To put a video in your profile, go to your UCP and SETTINGS. On the left side bar, you will find a link for YouTube videos. Click on it and put a video (or videos) in your profile. The information you need to put in is the ID of the VIDEO. Not the URL, but the ID that appears in the URL of the YouTube for your video, such as "tdj3QwRy1vc" which happens to be the ID of the video you will see in my profile. Keep in mind that all AVSIM Terms of Use apply to what you put in your Profile as a video. Do something your mamma would not want to see, and it probably will result in some not so friendly Moderator's response. Have fun!

I was so frustrated that I couldn't make individual custom axis profiles for each aircraft in MSFS, but I should have known that a smart developer would alleviate me of this frustration before too long. I just bought a program called Axis and Ohs by Lorbi (which is available to try for free), which makes setting custom controller axis and button profiles and templates a breeze. It's so easy to use! Has anyone tried this program yet? I'm surprised that I haven't heard a lot of excitement over this utility. It's genius and it works so well and solves a really big problem with MSFS (it also works with FSXSE and P3D!). You can change controller settings on the fly without having to go back to the main menu. I know that FSUIPC does the same thing in P3D, but Axis and Ohs (silly name!) works so much easier and cleaner than FSUIPC that I'm going to start using it for P3Dv5 also, instead of FSUIPC. This great utility is under $12 and it's free to try out. Please tell me if anyone else has tried this and is as excited about this utility as I am. I am amazed at how easy it is to use! Also Lorbi gives the best support.

Hi all, I was wondering if there is a way to maintain different control assignments based on the aircraft you are flying. I have a sidestick and a yoke and having setup different fsuipc profiles for the controllers I am actually looking to use separate pov hat switches for the tilt and the pan functions based on the loaded plane. At the moment I am redefining each time, not exactly a hardship but would be nice to have 🙂 Thanks and regards, Thanos Anogiatis

Nvidia inspector v1.9.6.9 is available and I was wondering if custom profiles can be corrupted if I use the upgrade button? It's not difficult to install v1.9.6.9 from scratch and customize the FSX profile again but I just wanted to know for future reference. Thanks in advance for your replies.
