Hello, I can't install the 777 because the installer tells me "unable to locate fsx.exe. Unable to install." I fixed the registry entry (both using tools and thereafter manually), reinstalled FSX, opening the installer in admin-mode. Since the 777 doesn't work with Prepar3d (without any notice on the product page!) and I had to "downgrade" to FSX to use the bird, I'm getting quiet annoyed that it still doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks for help in advance!

Oops, my bad, should read 'On another positive note ...' - can't edit my topic title, I'm afraid! ( ) Is this true or is it just an Iljushin: I did a plethora of flights (two plethoras, to be precise ...) in the T7 without noticing any map integrity or ILS/autoland issues. As soon as I performed a flight in #3 of my most favoured planes of all times (MD-11) the FSX registry fix issue was back immediately . So my conclusion is the FSX registry entry was corrupted during my T7 flights already - but the T7 wasn't affected by that. Can anyone confirm that the registry repair stuff isn't an issue anymore with flights in the T7?!?

Same thing with FSX:SE

Hi All Now that I [finally] have a smooth running flightsim, I'm planning to backup or to be more precise, copy my P3D root directory installation which comprises P3D+ORBX+OTHER SCENERY & AIRPORT ADD-ONS from the likes of Aerosoft, FS Addons and UK2000, from the ssd on which it currently resides to an internal hdd. I also have other add-ons handled by the xml method via Lorby's excellent add-on manager which pose no concern in this respect. The SSD also holds in separate directories FS Pilots mesh, REX Skyforce & WWA, MyTraffic 06a and a whole bunch of Return to Misty Moorings stuff. I've read a previous post from 2016 in the forums related to this, but no mention is made of the registry. I suspect I will need to make a copy of my registry also? Surely some of the add-on programs I've installed to the P3D root directory write to the registry? Or if I use a back-up tool, this is taken care of automatically? Could some kind soul advise, please? Thanks.
