What the title says. You can download the stuff through their forums. This needs a verified account. I purchased REX Essential for FSX last week and I haven't been able to successfully open the file after it finishes downloading. I have tried downloading the file 7 times and every time after it finishes and I try to open it, it gives me a message that says the file is corrupt of invalid and cannot be opened. I have tried using download managers and external drives all with the same result. I have tried contacting REX directly but their phones are always busy, they won't return my messages, and they won't return my emails. I just want to get this downloaded and installed already. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Seems like I can never get logged in over at the REX forums so I thought I'd post here. Wondering if anyone has seen this and might have any work arounds or fixes. I tend to run my sim with challenging weather...low visibility, turbulence, crosswinds...different stuff for training or for making it more real. I *try* to use REX for this but I have a couple of issues when I use it. Sometimes, the weather clears and stays away. I can understand it clearing it momentarily while it reloads but then it just turns into a perfect sunny day for 4-5 minutes and the weather comes back. Forcing a reload doesn't seem to help much if at all. Can't seem to figure out how to set the surface wind...at least at the low altitude airport that I generally fly out of (60 ft). The lowest layer of wind you can add is 1000 ft. Not sure if that's MSL or AGL. My guess is MSL. I'm finding myself having to turn it off. I don't have any other weather apps running, and I have my weather set at 'custom' inside FSX. My set up is pretty standard and basic with FSUIPC (full version), Ultimate Terrain 2, and EZDoc running. My CPU on three virtual cores is about 60%...the other 5 are fairly idle. Regards, Gregg

Hello, I am using ATI CF Xtension in order to enable both cores in my 4870X2. I have triple monitor with TH2GO and noticed a big improvement in FPS. The problem is that I can't make REX to work anymore. I suppose that it search for fsx.exe filename, but I had to change the .exe to "crysis.exe" for ATI CF Xtension setup. Thanks in advance! -
