Hi, anyone can post an instruction showing how to replace the default GNS430 with Reality XP GNS430 v2? kind regards, Kris

First of all, thanks for offering a 3D RXP integration. I'm happy with it, at daytimes. At night, it seems like the gauge lighting is missing in the VC. From the screenshots, you can see that the day stuff works and the 3D RXP model of yours is active and allows for the RXP knobs to work just fine in the VC. But when switching to darker phases, only the rest of the panel is lit while the RXP units stay dark (except for the screens). Day. Night. If this only happens at my end, please disregard. But I've tried it with different panel.cfg files in place and that's the best I could achieve.

Recent industry changes for internet transmissions are being implemented, and older protocols are being disabled. This is beyond our control. Specifically, TLS 1.1 and 1.2 are required by modern browsers and internet applications. TLS 1.0 is being depricated. In fact, if you use the Internet Explorer browser on these older computers you may not be able to connect to many secure websites, such as PayPal or Google. For Windows 7 Users you have this option: Windows 7 has the ability to use TLS 1.1 and 1.2. However, these newer protocols may not be turned on by default because Windows 7 is now 8 years old and they were never enabled. You can turn on these protocols by following these instructions: Open up your Internet Properties. To do this go to Start then Run and type in INETCPL then press ENTER (or select Internet Options in Control Panel). You can optionally select Tools/Internet Options in Internet Explorer. Select the Advanced tab and under Security make sure Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 are selected. Note the two highlighted red areas. Select Apply or OK and you now should now should be able to connect to our servers. For Windows XP and Vista Users: Unfortunately these operating systems are now too old and Microsoft does not support the newer TLS 1.1 or 1.2 protocols on these systems. You do have an option however as long as you have access to a Windows 7 or later PC. You will need to use the License Transfer process that we offer. NB: the link to this info is on their home page.

Installed dual rxp 530w gps with unlimited pack. Crossfilled. Cannot tune the #2 vor separate from #1 vor. They are linked to the EHSI only. Also when I use the small nav knob of the # 2 gps it tunes the com freq. I can only change the nav freq using the nearest vor selection. This only relates to the #2 gps.

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all.I purchased the Garmin GTN database 599$ to try to update my RealityXP but all tutorials I have seen unfortunately doesnt match my system. Everything is working but with the old database 21xx if I am not mistaken, but I dont have any files or folder at ProgramFiles from Garmin. Anyone know if the procedure changed to update the Rxp from Garmin Trainer?Appreciate any help.Thanks

Hello, I just installed the RXP GNS430/530 WAAS and when I install the RXP with the Realair Duke V2 config panel, everytime it crash when FSX is loading, same for Carenado's planes with rxp installers. But when I install the RXP with the default rxp installer it works and no crash. Can anyone help me ? Thanks in advance. I can't have a 3D GNS and the default gps's remains here, that's a little anoying.

Just recently started having a problem with the pop-up window of the RXP GNS 430/530. For some reason, it's completely blank/see through when using the pop-up window. Also, the RXP mounted in the panel is black and won't turn on. I don't believe this is an RXP problem because it happens with the SimFlyer KLN 94 pop-up as well that I've installed in some aircraft. And when using any Carenado airplanes that use the G500, the PFD softkeys are unresponsive. It was working fine a few weeks ago and I've installed a number of add-on's since so it's not easy figuring out what caused it. Is there a known issue with pop-ups that I don't know about and how can I fix this?

G'day Friends, I need some help with a project I've been tasked with. I have to reconfigure a GA simulator for use at a flight school. The goal is to have a 220° projected view on a curved display with control input coming from a rather well designed console having dual controls, many of which designed from real parts, the rest a mix of custom and third party. Currently, the system runs, but the scenery display suffers MASSIVE frame loss and is very glitchy. I'll list the current configuration: 1. PC 1 - Runs FSX, displays to a single LCD monitor for scenery overview, and has dual LCD display for cockpit instruments and RealityXP GNS 430, receives inputs from all flight controls, acts as FSUIP and Wideview server. This machine runs a dual core AMD, mediocre video and fast SSD. Panel software (forgive me, I’ve forgotten the name, but it’s the one you can configure and allow to work as a default FSX panel) is displayed on a spilt LCD display (two monitors) at the console. This panel display is stretched across the 2. RealityXP GNS 430 software is also displayed here, on the left side. The RXP instance is controlled by input from a customer-built model of the G430. 2. PC 2 – The display machine – This machine runs FSX, Wideview Client, and FSUIP client. This is the most powerful of the machines with an i7 processor, Crossfire (FAST) Radeons, fast SSD and a lot of RAM. The machine’s display is outputted via DVI to a Triple Head 2 Go, and configured via Immersive Display Pro to stretch across 220° on 3 projectors 3. PC 3 – Runs 3 Monitors, Instructor Station software, FSUIP client, GoogleEarth, and Plan G. This is a budget machine, not critical to the operation other than the Instructor Station software, which, in this setup is buggy at best. Okay, the problem is that while all of this works, it does so crappily. I’ve got a bottleneck somewhere, and I’m having difficulty (operational constraints) determining where it is. 3 probabilities: Triplehead 2 go, Wideview, or the way things are configured. What I need is advice of the configuration (which PC’s where, how much power each needs, HOW MANY PCs, which software to run etc). I know it’s a big ask, so I appreciate ANY advice I receive. I just need a place to start. Also, if anyone has used a similar configuration, I’d love a report on its success. Cheers! Dave

Seems to be a problem connecting to F1 E-Commerce (version 3.2) for RXP 2.3.6 update. I'm able to connect and reinstall (update) with Windows 10 ...but no luck with Windows 7 Enterprise.

The rxp 750 screen turned black after I updated my system, I've tried reinstalling the plugin and the garmin trainer but still no hope. XP reallity GTN 750/650 manual shows about Failue Annuciation function. Anybody how knows how such function could be impemented in X-plane? The only working is as shown i first row. Tested in XP-11 and XP-9, same same Failures Annunciation REALITY XP GTN 750/650 TOUCH X-PLANE When enabled in the configuration panel, the GTN plugin uses the following datarefs6 as failures sources: sim/operation/failures/rel_gps sim/operation/failures/rel_g430_gps1 Satellite reception failure, displays "No GPS Position" sim/operation/failures/rel_gp Differential GPS failure, reduces location accuracy. Satellite reception mode switches to 3D instead of 3D-Diff. sim/operation/failures/rel_com1 COM radios failure only. sim/operation/failures/rel_nav1 NAV radios failure only. sim/operation/failures/rel_navcom1 Both COM and NAV radios failure. sim/operation/failures/rel_xpndr Transponder failure. sim/operation/failures/rel_marker Audio Panel failure. If data fields become invalid, the GTN typically annunciates the failures with a large red X, as shown. The only failure that works is GPS unavailable via GPS430 command in the first line above. I cannot figure out how to reach this functions! I whant to control the operation failure from IOS if possible or thru keyboard. Even in plugin admin there is som keys to use but those above is not vissible anywhere. Tested in XP 9 and XP 11 and that is the same. Best regards Stefan
