  1. xMETAR Full (by spectrun). The Real Time Weather System for MSFS. xMETAR Full (by spectrun) allows obtaining Real Weather within the MSFS using updated information of the current location of the aircraft. This information is applied immediately every few seconds without having to stop the flight. Modifying clouds, wind, temperature and weather conditions such as rain, snow. Among other features,.. Continually adding improvements and features Nice, cheap and easy to use😀 Official Site: xMETAR (by spectrun)
  2. I have noticed the break temperature indicator never reads above "0". Even after heavy breaking upon landing and selecting each of the four breaks, they all read "0". The test feature does work however. Is anyone else seeing this issue or has this feature not yet been activated?
  3. I have two temperature monitoring programs with a 10 deg C between them. No idea which is correct. Any suggestions for a monitoring program that I can rely on? Winsows7, DualCore E4400, AsRock motherboard.
  4. Hello simPlugin Team, I think I've found an error in the conversion from ° C to ° F under 'CHT (Engine 1 to 4 square)". Plane: Lancair Legacy for FSX (Real Air) Tools: Link2FS_inout_v4j (http://www.jimspage.co.nz/link2fs_inout.htm) Image 2 Link2FS show CHT 200 °C Plane: 392 °F your gauge: 200 °C I change the unit in seting Image 1 Link2FS show CHT 200 °C Plane: 392 °F your gauge: about 232 °F The same thing happens with the C337 of "Carenado" Regards, Carlos
  5. Cabin crew reports that the aft passenger cabin is freezing! Sure enough, the temp reading from the cockpit is showing 9C for the aft passenger cabin! Only the aft pass cabin is affected. Environmental controls are set for Auto, Trim air is on, etc. Setting aft passenger cab temp manually to max doesn't help. We don't have enough blankets! Without a fix, we will need to start flying for Ryan Air! lol
  6. Hello simPlugins team. I often use Cessna King Air B200 (Carenado), Turbine Duke (RealAir) and BAe 146-200 (QualityWings). All these aircraft use a gauge to indicate the temperature and oil pressure. The problem is that the temperature is given in ° C. I have tried using the gauge "Oil (Engine 1 to 4) Port Number: 42002", but show temperature in ªF The other alternative is to use the gauge "Engine Oil Helicopter (Port Number: 46006 )", but selecting the engine does not allow. Could implement the option to display the temperature in ° C at the first gauge or allow the second selection of a specific engine? Carlos.
  7. Hi all, I started to noticed that the upper level SAT temperatures in FS9 varied slightly to those being displayed in the winds aloft pane of AS6.5. To find out of there was a particular trend, I collected upper wind data from four different airports (KLAX, KORD, SBGL and FACT) and compared the wind data in FS9 to that being downloaded from AS6.5. For each level (FL030, FL060, FL090, FL120, FL180 and FL240), the temperature in FS9 was between -3.5 and -4.5*C cooler than AS6.5. In total I have 24 data points and they all display the same difference. To me this indicates that the difference is not random. Has anybody else come across this and can explain what is going on and how to fix it. I have 100% accuracy for upper wind set in AS6.5 too. Cheers. David.
  8. Sorry if this has been already posted (I did my best to search the forum). I have been encountering the following problem: a quick rise to 40+ C. air in certain supply ducts (usually AFT and/or CONT CAB) shortly after I either switch on the APU bleed or start the engines thus using engine bleeds for bleed air. In turn, my cabin temp rises substantially -- if I don't notice it right away, sometimes cabin temps get into the mid 40s C. and I get an amber zone temp alert. All temperature control switches are set to AUTO, the problem happens regardless of outside air temperature, and my RAM doors are fully open during this problem. PACK temperatures are normal, with right pack temp registering around 19 C., and the left slightly higher at around 23 C. If I move the appropriate temperature control switch(es) to a cooler setting (one or two notches into the "cold" range), the respective supply duct temperature quickly decreases to an acceptable range. My question is twofold: 1. The problem doesn't seem to be with the PACKs, since their temps are normal, and my problem involves temps jumping extremely only in certain zones (indicating mix manifold temp is normal). With mix manifold temp normal, the air must be getting heated somewhere between the manifold and the supply duct -- the only thing I can imagine is the trim air going nuts and thinking it needs to modulate (i.e. heat) the individual supply duct zones way (way) more than it does. I could shut off the trim air system entirely, or the individual trim air modulating valves by selecting OFF on the respective temperature control switch, but that would seem an unnecessary (and perhaps dangerous) step to having a comfortable cabin when AUTO should keep temps normal. Furthermore, when the amber zone temp light illuminates as it does when I fail to notice the temp rise, the associated trim air modulating valve should close (perhaps it does not in the NGX simulation), yet even so, the supply duct temp does not cool until I move the temp selector into the "cold" range. Does anyone know if trim air does this sometimes, and what I can do to remedy it? Do I have the wrong idea assuming this is a trim air malfunction? 2. Am I doing something procedurally wrong that could somehow be subjecting my virtual passengers to an oppressive, tropical climate? My pneumatic system initiation procedure with APU bleed is standard, as I understand it, with APU ignition, trim air defaulted on, recirculation fans switched to auto, PACKs switched to auto, isolation valve switched to open, and all bleeds turned on. If this is just a real-life NG idiosyncrasy, I'll continue to deal with it manually as I mentioned, but it seems hardly likely most pilots would be alright with such a quirk, 40-degree C air blowing on their passengers with temp controls set to AUTO. Or, perhaps, is this a fix that PMDG needs to institute? Thanks guys, Bryan Yunis
