  1. Hello, For some reason just recently (last saturday) I have begun encountering this issue. Every preset on the plane has zoomed in some past the normal value. This creates a view to close to aircraft or to far up wing or too close to instruments in cockpit. When I hit backspace the view resets to its default but will just either immediately zoom back in (in cockpit it zooms to .56 outside to .67) or when i switch views back and forth zoom back in. This is rather annoying and would love some help. I tried restarting sim and chaseplane, fixes files, resetting settings nothing has worked. Any tips? Ethan Hunt
  2. Hi, i am working with HID Macros to setup my second keyboard to control directly my gps garmin 530 and autopilot, but i'm having a hard time finding the SimConnect event id. I've search in the list of Event ID on microsoft website https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526980.aspx but for a couple of them I can't find anything that work. Is there a way to use a software to monitor Event ID in FSX that I can click on the different button and knob, so it show up in the log of that software. After that it's easy to add them to HID Macros with the ID. I am working with the Carenado PC-12 The list of what I can't associate with a simConnect event: GPS Garmin 530 left knob incr freq: ±1MHz and ±.5/±.25MHz and "PUSH C/V" ".C" PWR VOL push SQ AutoPilot: "TEST" button "IAS" speed hold button "HALF BANK" button Mode control: "PULL VS" ____________button __ to show selected altitude/vertical speed ____________knob ___this is use to increase/decrease Vertical speed or altitute of the autopilot "ENG" VS (Altitude selector VS (on/off)) "ARM" ALT (Altitude selector ARM (on/off))
  3. I installed an rxpGNS430 into the Carenado E50P Phenom 100 to use for the GPS source and to aid in loading flight plans etc. Works great. Now I am trying to substitute a toggle to active the pop up rxpGNS. The PFD on the E50P has a toggle hotspot (gauge03 in the Vcockpit01 window) at the Prodigy logo that toggles a window with the 2d PFD. I never us that so I want to have that hotspot toggle the rxpGNS (Window08) but I'm running out of altitude & airspeed in my attempts. I have a feeling the secret is in the K:PANEL_ID_TOGGLE, but it would take me a while to get smart enough about it to know. Here is the relevant panel.cfg sections and the xml for the ToggleCARG1000 PFD gauge. Any help appreciated! //-------------------------------------------------------- [Vcockpit01] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=512,512 visible=0 pixel_size=1024,1024 texture=$Panel_1 gauge00=EMB500_G1000!G1000_configEMBP100, 0, 0, 1, 1 gauge01=GAUGEEMB500!Gauge_CLOCK_DIG, 0, 0, 1, 1 gauge02=EMB500_G1000!G1000_PFDEMBP100VC, 1, 4, 512, 350 gauge03=EMB500CAR!ToggleCARG1000, 64, 0, 256, 32 gauge04=Synch_GPS_NAV!Synch_GPS_NAV, 0, 0, 1, 1 [Window08] window_pos=0.739583,0.000000 window_size=0.260417,0.194444 visible=1 ident=15431 zorder=99 gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS430,0,0,100,100 _____________________________________________________________________ <Gauge Name="ToggleCARG1000" Version="1.0"> <Image Name="iconpanel_background.bmp"/> <Mouse> <Area Left="0" Top="0" Width="30" Height="30"> <Cursor Type="Hand" /> <Click>0 (>K:PANEL_ID_TOGGLE) </Click> </Area> </Mouse> </Gauge>
  4. I'm as useful at coding as an eye dropper at a forest fire. I'm trying to perform a simple toggle: Toggle open/close the front door Note:the default FSX door toggle key command map does not work in this plane and I do not want to use a mouse for this Is anyone good at Lua coding FSUIPC that can help please? The LINDA code below works with a button within LINDA but I want to map a keyboard press within FSUIPC. function DC6_ExitFwd_open () ipc.writeLvar("dc6_446_obj", 1) DspShow ("Frnt", "open") end function DC6_ExitFwd_close () ipc.writeLvar("dc6_446_obj", 0) DspShow ("Frnt", "clse") end function DC6_ExitFwd_toggle () if _tl("dc6_446_obj", 0) then DC6_ExitFwd_open () else DC6_ExitFwd_close () end end
