I'm having a slight problem with the turboprops on FS KBT's L-188. I find it very hard to taxi properly as the plane just shoots forward when I open the throttles even a little bit. There's a switch in the cockpit that has 2 positions: "Low RPM" and "High RPM". I tried the switch and in "Low RPM" mode it moves the mixture levers down to 1% (low / ground idle?) which should reduce the RPM a lot, but it has almost no effect whatsoever. Even after flipping the switch, opening the throttles a little bit makes the plane accelerate so much that it's difficult to control because I have to use the brakes all the time. Has anyone else had similar problems with this plane or a similar one? Does anyone know how to fix this? ~CK

Glad that my previous set was well received, I've tried to gather some more for you guys. These are all old, as I'm currently about 520nm North of my flightsim PC and won't be any nearer any time soon. 1. We start with another shot of the sunset I liked a lot, in the Duke. 2. Moving on to a Connie, screaming mightily low over Maho Beach 3. And go for a nice flight in a DC-2, somewhere in the PNW on a cloudy day 4. Next up is a slightly edited shot of the excellent Captain Sim 757 landing at TNCM. 5. We'll have some fun in the Alps with the Katana 6. And watch some more beautiful colors while cruising from Brisbane to Auckland in an Airbus A320. 7. The Captain Sim 767 is another one of my favorite planes, seen here on the taxi out to the runway at JFK 8. We'll go for a ride on a helo towards Auckland, maybe he'll drop us of at the Skytower. 9. This Catalina was trying to eclipse the sun. 10. And we end with my homemade Kiwi Cruiser paint on the superb Lotus L-39, dropping into Nelson after a short flight from Wellington. Hope you guys enjoy these as well!

I'm ashamed to say, I've never noticed this screenshot subforum. It's so far down the list, I rarely scroll past the support subforums. Let me quickly correct that by posting my personal favorites ranging from early 2010 to somewhere late 2011. 1. Taxi to the stand at Brussels International Airport. I love this scenery. The airport is quite nice in real life as well. 2. I think the crew went for a simultaneous bathroom break here. 3. REX at it's finest. 4. One of the nicest sunsets I've experienced in FSX 5. Though this one comes in close behind it. 6. For sunrises, this one does it for me. I even forgot to follow the SID because I was staring out of the windows... 7. Can't make a selection of favorites without the 727... 8. Or without the work of art that is the F-22. 9. From the old to the modern and now back to the old again... 10. Before ending with the quasi-modern. I hope you guys enjoy them :).

Is turboprop logic fixed?
CLE_AA-5B_GrummanTiger posted a topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Ever since I found out that the logic was all wrong for turboprops in MSFS (torque & ITT at altitude mainly), I have been loath to fly turboprops until this was fixed. That's been some time ago and I know they were supposed to address that in the updates since. Have they? Is it not only corrected but also refined well enough that it's enjoyable to fly? I liked the TBM a lot early on, especially with the mod, and I got to thinking it's about time to get back in it. -

When did you last feel the thrill of taking flight? What was your destination? What was your purpose? Where do you want to go next? Welcome to the D328eco™ -- yesterday's heritage with tomorrow's technology. Less fuel, less carbon emissions, less impact on our planet. The Deutsche Aircraft D328eco is a stretched version of the original Dornier 328 regional aircraft, designed with sustainability in mind. As such, it is designed to be able to adopt sustainable fuels, while improving on its predecessor in terms of performance and economy. It is expected to enter into service by the middle of this decade. Development progress and more here. More info on the D328co. *No. I don't speak German, but I did put that phrase (plus the logo) as a means of complementing the animated pax door being a recent addition to my mod; it does it so well, the above image might as well be an official DRA poster for all I know. Workflow: Blender to gmax: I model and UV map the parts in Blender (due to familiarity), export as OBJ, and import them to gmax, where I create materials and animations.

This is not a request for an update, I understand this is the most complex aircraft that Milviz has developed yet, and as such to ensure high quality they need time. This is pretty much a tribute to both Beechcraft and Milviz for outstanding products and dedication to their customer base, this video brought a tear to my eye, I hope you enjoy it!

Anyone interested in doing an Airborne Support repaint of the excellent new Basler BT-67 DC-3 conversion? Airborne Support is based in Southern Louisiana and has been instrumental in fighting oil spills. My family's from that area and aviation is a big part of life down there. Here's a couple of links for info: http://www.baslerturbo.com/news.aspx http://www.airbornes...com/basler.html Thanks in advance for your interest.

In August 1993, Turkish Airlines went into the airfreight business was with nothing more unlikely... than an Antonov 12 leased from Air Sofia (hence the LZ reg). LZ-SFK was the first ever An-12 to fly without its nose radome, which once housed the ROZ-1 ground mapping radar. 10 more planes would follow suit with this interesting Bulgarian modification (including VEGA with its ill-fated "Tsar Boris"). Unfortunately, info on Turkish An-12 ops is just as scant as why some An-12s flew without their bulging radomes. At least the latter makes a sleeker, better looker IMHO. Radomeless An-12 for FS2004. Work in progress by me. Note: the eyebrows were painted onto the texture; they are not part of the physical model because almost all of the radomeless An-12s had their eyebrows plugged not long after their radomes were removed.
