  1. I don't seem to have much luck using the Random Voice Setting. Do I need to remove all the individual controller voices in the list above this setting in order to have the random voices function? I have a selection of random voices configured but it still follows the voices I've set in the individual controller section. Ken.
  2. Hi...installed cereproc voices, which I do believe are 64bit..windows 10x64, started getting fatal error msg....where can I look. I do have the windows Speech Recognition 8.0 (English) Thanks for any input. Bob M.
  3. I do not want to open a long discussion on what ATC is better. Each has its pros and cons. But one thing that is still unsurpassed in ATC default FS2004/FSX, in my opinion, is the quality of the voices and the realism. Now, since it is going to be released P3D 2.0, and then the ATC source code is available for LM developers, do you think could be finally developed a good default ATC with SID / STARs and AIRAC upgradeable, and with a voice quality equal or superior to that which we know? I can not fly always online, rather are less the times I can do it, so I think it is essential to have a complete ATC environment, with a good and realistic sound quality. That could handle properly AI traffic on ground, enroute and during approach and final phase of flight, could save the situation, could handle SID and STARs and is aligned with AIRAC. Yes, you'll think, that's allready exist, but the quality of audio? None ATC addons I know have the same audio realism of FS2004/FSX default or not? A rock solid default ATC saves you from having to run third-party programs that often block or otherwise crash your sim or causes various problems. What do you think about?
  4. Don't normally do this but I was looking for voices and stunbled into www.cereproc.com I just can't handle the charges for Ivona (although they are good) limited funds as a senior lol but from what I see these are super quality for HALF price $16.00 USD..normally $32.00 or more usd. You can download and listen to any voice first. It will be under Downloads/Music folder Have osx and windows and other format if interested. On there website price only good thru December. Based I believe out of Scotland. So bear in mind time difference. I downloaded maybe 8-10 voices. Well anyway..Enjoy the Holidays!! The voice Heather (Scottish English) is Hot..lol Bob M. I got an answer from there support in about 15 minutes. My question was about soundcards and the best setup for output: 48kHz/16Bit/Mono PCM if that makes sense
  5. Has anyone managed to get Voxatc to recognise Amazon polly voices? Pilot2atc manages to see them but with Voxatc they are not an option in the voice configurator.
  6. Hi guys i have strange problem with VoxATC, I downloaded the free (7day trial) VoxATC + i added VoxPOP and downloaded and installed the Voices from VoxATC webside. The problem is that i can't hear them i tried the voice configuration and inside FSX, weird part is that when i click "Speak" button in any of VoxATC program is starting VoxPOP server and everything but there's no voice. to be specific the button stays gray for like 1-2 sec and that it. I tried checking error log but it's blank. There's noting corresponding to any SAPI voice issue. I have installed some other voices from realspeak and their working just fine (in VoxATC program and in game). Tried reinstating everything i didn't work as well. Maybe I'm blind but i didn't find any answer of the Forums... Any help would be very appreciated. Dace P.S. English is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes.
  7. As a recent convert to vox atc, I see many people are enjoying - Ivona, cereproc voices. I am unable to run the Ivona voices as I get the "FATAL ERRORetc" and wonder "am i doing anything simply wrong" Advice will be well received, bearing in mind this has used up a lot of my time already and may have to settle for vanilla vox! Specs - - VOX 7.41 (C), (works fine with vox pop voices without Ivona voices) FSX GOLD on ssd (F) 4790K at 4.4 GHZ,(4 cores) 16mb RAM, 960gtx. Downloaded IVONA voice - from harpo site (also tried "NAUNCE" and also downloads from "vision aid international" - (as free trial),All Install fine, speaks in voice config and assigned as controller. The install also adds "speech to go" on my (C) drive. I hear the voice on initialization of vox ,after running through the atis it gives me the "FATAL ERROR etc".Removing the voice reverts vox to working again. LOG- At start of log- Exception while initializing Asti : Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files (x86)\Internal Workings\VoxATC FSX\AstiInt.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified I cannot find this file anywhere. later in log - Exception while initializing iFlyInt : Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Program Files (x86)\Speech2Go Voice Package\x86\iFly.dll' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified Funny one i havent got ifly. Near end of log- Aircraft exception Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at com.intworkings.voxatc.Intention.Extract(String messStr, RadioMessage rm) at com.intworkings.voxatc.RadioMessageImpl.ExtractItems(RadioMessage rmIn) at com.intworkings.voxatc.RadioMessageImpl.AddPacket(RTPacket packet) at com.intworkings.voxatc.CommunicatorBase.AddPacket(RTPacket packet) at com.intworkings.voxatc.Pilot.Run() at com.intworkings.voxatc.AIAircraft.Run() at com.intworkings.voxatc.AircraftWorker.Run() 1769608 Ins Text set : FATAL ERROR! disable VoxATC Funny thing - in previous crashes i came across missing files, - elevationsharp.dll and json which the log flagged. I found those in vox atc folder and copied them to the speech to go file which took care of that particular log file problem? I was hoping that someone might see a solution or have an idea otherwise i will occasionally attempt to delve deeper than my current digital limitations Update log when vox all functioning. - Log part 1 and 2 still occur but dosnt affect programme run. Cheers John
