I recently made the switch to X-Plane from Fly! 2K and am considering purchasing the CRJ 200 but i want to learn more about it before i make this pretty large investment. I am looking for some brutally honest feedback. I have not found a lot of unbiased reviews over at x-plane.org because of understandable commercial interests. I am particularly interested in real pilot involvement in the development of the flight model and flight dynamics. Here are some questions:Was there a real pilot involved in the development and for how long?Does the flight model feel solid and stable? Most X-Plane aircraft seem to have overly efficient control surfaces, which translates to over responsiveness and instability, especially in pitch? Are the avionics and cockpit exactly like the real thing, down to every small detail? Think PMDG. Does hand flying the plane provide a sense of inertia and stability? Think Rob Young flight models. Does the plane make the usual unrealistic tire squaling sounds while taxiing?I like to hand fly and my favourite simulation aircraft are still Rob Young's v88 Kingair and Navajo for Fly! 2K, but this brilliant sim is getting outdated and i decided to switch to something more modern. There are many things i like about X-Plane and i really hope to purchase an impressive pay ware aircraft soon. Thanks for your help. Feel free to compare to other products like PMDG for FSX. I would really like to know how the CRJ compares in all aspects.

hello :) I wonder , on x-aviation ,the download limit is a 3. but ,if the jetstream as a update 1.03 > 1.04 ,the réinstal can get the latest update and download this ? Without touch the max download limit ? or if the jetstream as a update 1.03 > 1.04 ,i download with the link in x-aviation website ,and ,after 3 update ,request an reset ,and this ,for all plane ? it's a lot of workload for x-aviation support... and ,if ,like me ,i réinstal windows regularly ,and ,after all update ,i take it. I may have a problem ? thank :)

I've owned Xplane for awhile now and never gave it more than a passing install and then delete, but after seeing the above mentioned bird I'm seriously thinking about buying my first Xplane payware addon. Anybody here have it? Impressions?

Not bashing X-Aviation but they don't know what customer service is. I have always supported the small flight simulation community and spend approximately $1000 a year on X-Plane and P3D products. i always try and deal directly with the vendor but X-Aviation is like banging your Head against the wall. I hate piracy and try and support our community but i have to admit I feel really let down by X-Aviation. All the other companies I buy from are great and offer excellent customer service. IE x-plane.org, PMDG, TheFlightSimStore, Flight1 etc... My problem is I have had awful luck with my PC these last 6 months that had required new hardware and the re-installation of windows about 5 times. So After I reinstall windows my X-aviation files always need reactivation. I contact x-Aviation and explain and have to flight with the them over a few weeks and about 10 emails every time before they will reset the activation. Basically treats you like a thief! There is absolutely no customer appreciation or service even after spending almost $300 at X-Aviation since last August. Do they think treating customers like this will encourage them to return? I know I never will buy anything from them again. very frustrated Pete Richards
