January 24, 201610 yr Do you have UTX Europe installed? Guernsey is one of the corrected airports in UTX so you have to exclude it in the UTX configurator if using ES Guernsey. January 25, 201610 yr Thanks, Tom, but no luck so far. Tried that and later I even deactivated UTX completely. All looks normal, but as soon as ES-EGJB-Guernsey is active, I get this plateaus and sort of "holes" in the terrain. Besides UTX Europe I have only FTX global installed. Mike 1. January 25, 201610 yr Hmm, not sure what else to suggest but I've seen this before I'm sure of it. Is EGJB at the top of your scenery library? January 27, 201610 yr Do you have the following file in your World/Scenery folder? Thanks, Christopher !! I'm one step further now. It was not in world/scenery, apparently the installer had put it in the Program Data folder and not in the main P3D folder. So the terrain looks OK now. Now the "only" remaining problem are the missing Airport buildings. I see just the Apron and plenty of cars and some other objects. Moving the airport bgl to the top of the scenery library does not help, also sorting like this didn't help : http://earthsims.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/235614-what-s-the-correct-ordering-in-scenery-library-set The current state looks like that : 1. January 27, 201610 yr Mike, It looks like you are missing a huge number of buildings and other objects. The land that you can see behind the airport in youir screenshot should be packed with detailed objects! Can you provide a top down view of an area of Guernsey (so that I can see if you have the proper textures installed), and also one or two other areas of the island? Is the island almost empty of objects? It should be filled with buildings and all kinds of other objects. Guernsey is quite densely populated with objects, and the Earth Simulations version depicts that very well indeed! January 27, 201610 yr Looks like the installer hasn't updated the shared autogen SPB file with the new ESI autogen Cheers Keith ...
January 28, 201610 yr Looks like the installer hasn't updated the shared autogen SPB file with the new ESI autogen Seems I really messed up the installation, so I tried the Repair function in the installer and the buildings are there at the Airport now ! I'm still not convinced it's all as it should be, because except Airport and roads and road lights it's empty around the Island. So apparently no Autogen at all (also at Isle of Man) Which folder do you point the installer to ? If I use the main P3D folder, it complains about not finding scenery.cfg and as far as I remember during the Isle of Man Installation, also about an Autogen folder. There is no spb file on disk with any *ES* in the folder name, should there be one and where ? Do I need the 'Autogen compatibility pack', as mentioned in the above mentioned Earthsims info ? The link is now dead though. Mike 1. A320 home cockpit (FSLabs, Skalarki), P3Dv5 Main PC : I7-12700K, GTX3080Ti 2. FSLabs A3xx, P3Dv5. Gigabyte Aorus 17G YC, I7-10700K, RTX 3080

January 28, 201610 yr Kevin, here's the excerpt of my scenery.cfg. To keep it a bit shorter, the three entries Layer=<Number>, Active=True, Required=False are always identical . January 28, 201610 yr You can get the autogen files from http://www.arm-computers.co.uk/EarthSims_Help/Q_1_/Q_2_/Q_3_/q_3_.html I would certainly try them if nothing else works - just make sure to back up what you have now (they don't include FTX HD Trees for instance) Cheers Keith ...
January 28, 201610 yr I would urge everyone with legacy ES titles to shortly go to FSDeveloper and download Arno Gerretsons new Autogen Utility Merge program which is in final testing. It will allow you to have multiple autogen definition sets in different folders (all explained in user manual) so ES sceneries should be able to fully work with ANY other scenery no matter what any other dev does to their autogen definitions in the future Kevin Firth - AMD 9800X3D; Asus Prime X670E; 64Gb Cas30 6000 DDR5; RTX5090; AutoFPS

November 3, 20169 yr https://www.flightstore.co.uk/dvds-flight-sims-c346/flight-sim-software-c499/playsims-publishing-m133 is the only place that might sell it...not there now so must be out of stock. Sorry Keith ...
November 3, 20169 yr ES is a tragedy. Some of the best scenery ever made, but coupled with an installer from heII. And now that they hav gone bust, most users are left with nothing but trouble... Simmerhead - Making the virtual skies unsafe since 1987!
