P3D V3: Landing lights not illuminating ground

Recommended Posts

Any updates on this problem?

Not that I'm aware of. More of an LM question, though.

Prepar3D v3.1 will be out before the end of the year. Let's hope LM has fixed the issue in v3.1.

This issue is not fixed in 3.1 - I still have the problem

When did you get 3.1? As far as I'm aware, this hasn't been released yet.

If you're part of their beta program, then, as part of that role, it would probably be a good idea to remind them of this.

EDIT: Turns out, I'm about 3 hours late on news apparently...

That's a pain. That was really the only thing I needed from 3.1. Can't believe they didn't fix it...

Just one question, Gentlemen.

For me it seems that the light issue is resolved with the actual 777 installer.

Can somebody confirm ?

Thanks, Carsten

Well, for me the problem was solved with the P3Dv3.1 update long before the latest 777 version.  The only thing that ver 1.10.7025 added to lighting was the beacon light splash on the engine nacelles.

V3.1 from LM fixed this.

Either way - not something we can fix. Note that it was fine prior to 3.0, suddenly appeared in 3.0, and then disappeared in 3.1. We made no changes to our lights during this time, so, given all that information, it's pretty clear whose issue it was.
