June 7, 200223 yr For those that don't already know about it, I have a SID/STAR editor for the PMDG 757/777 aircraft available at flightassist.tripod.com/index.htm.I am also, very shortly, going to release a SID/STAR converter. It will convert 767 PIC SIDs and STARs into the PMDG 757/777 format. This will provide a database of over 700 airports with SIDs and STARs.Happy designingTerry

June 7, 200223 yr Terry,I have used your SID/STAR program quite a bit, and found that it was an excellent learning tool...I'm to the point of writing my own now since I had some difficulty with your program doing things like:"...runway heading until 1550', climbing right turn to 080 until crossing PXR VOR 4 DME, turn left heading 020, expect vectors for GILAA.""Climb heading 275 until 19 DME from PGY VOR, turn left to 120 and proceed inbound PGY VOR 260 radial..."After several failed attempts to do these through your program, I dissected a couple of PMDG-written SID/STARs and figured out how to do it long-hand. That said...I still use your program to define the file initially and build a good base structure for the routes. Please don't take any of these comments as a slam...they're not, this is a good program, it just needs a little more flexibility. The SID/STAR converter will be very welcome!
