Setting course to VOR manually

Featured Replies

With the 757 for Fly2, I am unable manually set course to a VOR between 1-91 degrees. Headings between 92-365 show proper change in course on the EHSI display with VOR display mode selected by the EHSI mode knob. It's just the "dead" 90 degree segment mentioned above that I've not been able to manually select with the VOR course knob. Probably there is something I am overlooking, being completely new to the 757 (just downloaded it not long ago). Otherwise map mode on the EHSI display seems to work fine, and I can also manually make an ILS approach at the above headings just fine as well.I'm patched to v230. I reinstalled the 757 once already. I deleted the HST file and still had the problem. No metar, C4TO, checklist, or other program I know of running in the background.Any ideas/suggestions are certainly welcome. Thanks!

Mark,I've had the same problem in trying to manually set a radial. I posted a question about this some time ago and didn't get any help. I might be wrong, but I also think that there should be some type of annunciator light which indicates whether you are in the "auto" or "manual" tuning modes.Good catch on your part.Steve Cohen

Steve, you raise a good point. I don't know how to confirm when manual or auto tuning is in effect.
