Help with E Dimensional's 3D glasses

Featured Replies

I just received my wireless ED glasses and I am not having a good go with it! I am sure I have the dongle , etc set up correctly and have downloaded the sugested NVidia stereo drivers for Win XP from the ED site. When I boot up with everything connected, I can see the start up info on my screen, however when it opens windows I can't seeanything, it is extremely faded out! I have tried different refreshes, etc all to no avail. When I go back to just using my monitor without the dongle, everything is OK. This is all before I can even think of turning stereo on!Here is my specs:Win XP HomeAthlon XP1800+GeForce 2 GTS28.32 video driversNVidia XP stereo drivers from ED website 19" monitor with 120 HZ refresh availableAnyone else have a similar experience or suggestions, I have e-mailed tech support and am awaiting an answer from them as wellThanks

I have very similar system specs (except the processor) and don't have any problems with the E-Dimensionals. If it is affecting your startup menu and desktop, you might check the connection - although it is probably fine. Getting mine running the first time was a challenge - I had to unload and reload the drivers, but after that, they work fine. If you can see enough on your screen to get to your video menu (right click on desktop, properties, settings, Advanced, Stereo Properties) enable 3D with "Hot Key" so that your system starts in 2D mode and see if that helps. You can then activate stereo by CTRL+T in your games. If not - ED tech support is great - they will get with you soon and replace the glasses if needed.
