737NG suggestions...

Featured Replies

If it hasn't been suggested already, I have two thoughts...-One, it would be great if virtual wing views were added if they are not planned already. These have a very low fps penalty, and as proven by DF with their coming 737, they can coexist with a virtual cockpit.-Two, perhaps have two models, one with the virtual cabin, and one without (while still retaining the virtual wing views). The virtual cabins tend to be fps killers...Just learned of this project today... Very eager to see how it develops...-John

John,No need to suggest point One and Two, everything already planned. :)There will actually be static and dynamic wing views, so you can choose between the two. The static version doesn't come with a virtual cabin, or a virtual cockpit. So you will have plenty of options depending on your personal preference or PC power.Sincerely,

That's great--only suggestion I'd have is to use the dynamic wing views for the version without the virtual cabin/cockpit. I've seen several recent payware and freeware releases with dynamic wing views as good as the static bitmaps. Still, that virtual cabin is great. I've only seen that type of detail in GA aircraft, such as Yannick's FSDS Robin. Can't wait to see exterior shots. I'm a big fan of the NG, having flown the Southwest version on many hops between SFO, PHX and BWI...-John

HeyI've asked about this before, never got any answer. Will you guys add an "Active Virutal Cockpit" like WilcoPubs 737NG and A320(comming)?Its extreamly cool to be able to fly and use ever system from the VC! :)Keep up the good work guys!

Yup.. you can.. and you can also use the scroll on your mouse to zoom in.The bad thing is that it simulates less systems than the Default 737 :) The Active VC is great, but dont buy it :) its a waste of money. *YOU SHOULD WAIT UNTIL PMDG MAKES ONE WITH ACTIVE VIRTUAL COCKPIT* ;) *hint* *hint* :)

2d cockpit is fine for meAs long as it looks good....I want to see realistic systems, failures, fmc, fde. An addon that can steal or share 767 PICs place :-) Come on PMDG! you can do it :-)BTW can you tell me what stage the 737 is at and what still needs to be done. Thnx
