July 1, 200322 yr Just woundering when an updated SIDS and STARS download, or convertor will come out here or at Navdata ?and finally, the Stairs? Whats the correct button to open them? I have explored and unfortunetly cannot open them :)Thanks,Sean.
July 1, 200322 yr Sean,Terry is currently debugging the latest version of his SIDSTAR converter. We will make it available on our homepage once it is complete. Also, the procedures can be user-defined very easily. We will provide a document on the creation of these files on our homepage as well. For now you can check out the two files located in your FS2002(/2004)/PMDG/SIDSTAR folder for an example.
July 1, 200322 yr Thankyou for the VERY fast reply..What about the Stairs mate? (Very Small Detail) :)Thanks again,Sean
July 1, 200322 yr I could swear you didn't ask about the airstairs before? ;-) So much for the edit function. You just reminded me of something I forgot to include in the documentation-The airstairs are connected to the Concorde drop/retract nose fully command.Go into your Key Assignments menu and add a commend to fully drop Concorde nose and one for retract nose (can't remember if those are the exact names for it). Make sure you are outside watching the animation, Vin has done an excellent job on it!
July 1, 200322 yr I think I've missed a topic somewhere but I can't find the info. What NavData should I be using with the NG when I finally get to download it?
July 1, 200322 yr Check out the documentation here - FS2002/PMDG/737TNG/Doc_source/index.htmIt will tell you about everything you need.To answer your question, you will have to download the latest AIRAC cycle at www.navdata.at. Use the 767PIC data for now as it is compatible with our FMC. Dedicated 737TNG data will soon be available at NavData.
July 1, 200322 yr Does the same regarding the PIC navdata hold true for the SID/STARS?Regards,Bjorn Ghezzi
