So let me get this straight,I pay $40 for a product that I probably won't be able to download.I have to unregister if my hard drive ever fails.I can't install it on 2 computers that i own.There's no manual yet.There's no liveries yet.God forbid I ever lose my order code, or I'll never be able to get my product that I attempted to download again...$40? Curious to as why you would need to post something like this? These guys put a lot of effort into this and to hash the product openly in a forum shows a lack of tact.I am more of a passive personality poster on these forums but this posting is a little out of bounds. Dear Mike, I really think you blow the activation code ordeal way out of proportion, there are cons to it but the pros are very important, it stops people from pirating the product easily, while this might not mean much to you it means ALOT to pmdg. They will obviously make exceptions when you re-format, hardware failurea and the like.. manual is coming. Liveries are available on the website. [Edit just saw they are temporarily offline, there is probably so people can download the base package more reliably]Manual on its way.. I'd rather fly the aircraft then have them hold it back for the manual. I personally think you are a little frustrated right now Mike, I'm sure if you get the aircraft your opinion will change greatly.. this is a very high quality add-on. When all is said and done [Phase 2 and 3 complete] this will definetly compete with the SSW A310 to have the next "PIC" title added to it.

What I am trying to say is that if you encounter any problems with downloading and registration, we are here to personally assist you until all issues are solved. This personal service is provided for the life-time of the product once you purchase it. I am simply trying to give my honest point of view as a developer to you, the potential customer.If you follow the registration guidelines we issued, you should have no problem. If something goes wrong, we will try our best to help you.2) Many problems you may have read about today were related to the initial download rush and the server trying to cope with such high demand. The server is already performing at a much better rate and this trend will continue so you should have no problems by tomorrow, or Thursday.3) As I have mentioned many times before, all the manuals have been written and just need to be edited and compiled into PDF format. This will happen within the next few days and then they will be available as a free download on our homepage. You can read over 150 pages of real airline procedures, operating limitations, checklists, etc. ... there is even a yoke checklist provided that you can print out and attach to your control yoke if you have one.4)Over 30 liveries have been painted already. The reason why they are not available right now is to reduce the load on the server, to increase performance for base product download.You should also note that all 30+ liveries are available free of charge!Mike, I tell you what -I invite you to wait until the weekend and reconsider your decision. Does PMDG plan on releasing a CD version of the 737 and if so will it have the same security measures as the downloaded version. I know the importance of safeguarding your investment so you'll here no beef from me. It would just be nice to have a CD version so if I decided to purchase the 737, I can install it when I want on both of my computers.
