FS2002 crashes after the 737TNG starts to load..

Featured Replies

Hello all.. new to the Avsim Forums, experienced in almost all things "Avsim" .I just bought the PMDG 737TNG, and I was, to say the least, ecstatic. When FS2002 loads, the "Create a Flight" screen shows up. I then go to Newark Liberty Intl.(KEWR), load up the 737-700 w/winglets/cabin/stairs/VC, then I click FLY. The scenery indexes load, and then I get a glimpse of the 737 sitting on the tarmac.. Then, nothing else.. At that point, the whole sim freezes. I thought it may have been scenery related, so I go to Chicago O'Hare Intl.(KORD); same problem. I then try to load FS2002 in the POSKY CRJ-200ER at KEWR, and that loads just fine. I press ALT+A+A to bring up the aircraft menu, select the PMDG 737-700, and the same problem happens; FS2002 completely freezes up just when it starts loading the aircraft (the textures begin to load and the scenery in the background begins to load again, and then it freezes).I can see the preview of the 737 in the preview box of the aircraft menu, but that's it. I'm "flying VFR into IMC", and I need assistance..Thanks

An issue has been identified with loading the aircraft in external view. Load it with cockpit view active.anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
