July 3, 200322 yr Hi ,When flying at cruise altitude in vnav and lnav the plane is flying at a much higher speed than calculated bu the fmc and it goes beyond the speed limited tape.The fmc calculated .73 and the plane was flying at .825i included a screen shot of itThanks in advance,best regards,G
July 3, 200322 yr Had almost exactly the same problem. Climbed to FL280 with FLCH. Engaged VNAV with a spd selected at m 0.77 in the FMC.Speed goes kaboom :)Also, when descendeing the aircraft made a suicidal dive with VS more than -8000fpm.Generators onJonas Lundh
July 4, 200322 yr Hi Anthony,First of all it's a great plane ,thanks for that.Yep the gen's are on and i was flying at 33.000 on a flight from Edinburgh to Eelde.I engaged l-nav and v-nav at about 4000 feet .After climb i used vs and heading selectThe aircraft was climbing at econ speed but when it reaches cruise altitude it looked like it was speeding up.:-waveGreetings from the NetherlandsG
