July 4, 200322 yr So far I'm really pleased with the 737NG- she flies like a dream and the panel's pretty good. I have not had the performace issues that others have reported at all- I've got the gauge refresh at max (25) and I'm not getting any slowdowns other than ones I expect due to dense scenery and/or really heavy AI.I'm using the first beta of Fsbuild that suports the 737NG and I'm having issues on plan import- I figured how to do so easily enough, but when I do, my departure airport never has the runways listed under dep/arr, I get a not in database error, and the latter half of my plan will not have values for cruise, but it will have 240/0 instead of .755/FLXXX. I am aware of the current lack of support for cost index, so I manually cruise at M.78 most of the time :) I have noticed that If I manually lay in the route on the route page it's OK.The logic is essentailly unchanged form other Boeing/Smiths products.BTW, FSB's current profile for the 737-700 is pretty good at fuel planning for the PMDG model. I suspect it's only a matter of time before there is a detailed profile avialable.I've attached a plan for example.- simply rename it to KPVDKTPA.rte and place it in your PMDGflightplans folder.Tim
July 4, 200322 yr Hi Tim,Thanks for sending the file. What happens is that runway 5 of departure is not named 5 in the AIRAC data we use as reference (it is 05R). The not in database message refers to this problem. If you just enter KPVD in departure airport and an arrival airport and go to DEP pages, you'll see the AIRAC defined runways.I corrected the entry manually in the FP and presto, all went fine.As you are on Ernie's beta team, please report this to him.TIAanthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
