September 17, 200322 yr Can't believe how many Stab Trim cutout/override switches there are in the cockpit of the 737NG! There is a cutout switch for stopping Autopilot Trim, a cutout switch for stopping ordinary trim, there is a cutout switch under each control column to stop the aircraft trimming (if you push the column in the opposite direction to which the stabilizer is running)... and, finally, a switch on the centre console (pedestal) to override the switches under the control columns *:-* http://members.ozemail.com.au/~b744er/737/...rrideSwitch.jpgThe Override switch is shown to the right of the large rotary Rudder Trim knob.Something tells me they're not leaving anything to chance :(Cheers.Ian.
