737NG: FMC Delete Route-IRS position reset

Featured Replies

PMDG congratulations for a great plane!Having ridden in the cockpit of the real 737-700NG (not as a pilot!!!) for more than 30 times, the resemblance and adherence to procedures and ops is excellent despite some really minor issues which I am confident they will be addressed soon. Being just a PC simmer (no real life flying experience etc.) and with a mere knowledge of other commercial FS aircraft packages (767PIC, DF737, PSS) it was really "piece of cake" setting the whole thing in operation, programming the FMC etc. and settting to flight with no hassle at all. Therefore, I find some complaints and "hard-line" verdicts quite unjustified. Two short FMC-related questions:1. On ground, having shut everything down and then restarted I fail to delete the origin (FROM) airport from the RTE page no matter what I tried (DEL etc.)-it just simly wont go away:-)2. The same applies to "POS INIT"- REF Airport and gate are not displayed at all and "CURRENT POS" cannot be inserter at all by means of the scratchpad.Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!Theodoros Anthropopoulos

Theodoros,A problem has been identified that prevents to init the route after landing. This will be corrected in the coming patch.Current pos can be inserted, using coordinates (Search forum on "coordinates") or by forcing LAST POS with L1, and then using this to input IRS POS.anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
