July 6, 200322 yr 737 bugs1. If I start to use the FMC before requesting clearance I lose all ATC communications. Even restarting the flight does not get ATC back. I have to exit FS and restart.2. Clicking the 'R' radios button sometimes I lose all internal sound.3. Dunno if I'm doing something wrong but the plane seems to cruise at about +5degrees (3.0 on AoA gauge). Any attempt to trim the plane causes violent oscillations)Desperately need the manual and still can't download the 'EasyJet' livery.Do you have to maunally start a descent? I thought, flying 'FMC', when the TD is reached the plane would start to descend and reduce speed automatically.I'm new to 'heavies' but I can imagine this plane would be a dream to fly. I've done some ILS approaches and it handles them superbly. No problem with reverse thrusters and brakes as some have reported here.Alan
July 6, 200322 yr Alan,ATC : This is really weird... Can you give more details on what you mean by using the FMC ?Descent : you need to reset the MCP alt before TOD, and of course VNAV has to be engaged (which is probably the case, but just to be sure :-))anthonyAnthony MertonPrecision Manuals Developmenthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com
July 6, 200322 yr Commercial Member Alan,The 737 NG will usually cruise at 0.78 Mach. Pitch at these figures is of the order 1.5 to 2.5 degrees as per Boeing manual page PI.20.32 for the -700 and page PI.10.28 for the -600.Pitch 5 indicates really slow flight.ANother thing : I sincerely hope you have not touched directly, or indirectly aircraft.cfg thorugh any external (non-PMDG) applications...Regards,Vangelis========================================== E. July 6, 200322 yr What about the manual? You said that it was planned for the 7 July, and that you would try to hurry it...But tomorrow is the 7. July...Any news?Thanks.Boaz...
July 6, 200322 yr >Alan,>>ATC : This is really weird... Can you give more details on>what you mean by using the FMC ?>>anthony>>Anthony Merton>Precision Manuals Development>http://www.precisionmanuals.comThanks for the TOD details. I didn't explain myself well about the FMC.When I enter the sim after setting up an IFR flight, the flight plan has to be manually entered or loaded into the FMC or loaded from a previously saved one. If I do this without contacting ATC for clearance first then I cannot enter ATC commands at all after that. I've tried this several times on different occasions but it's always the same. Contacting ATC for clearance first (which would be the wrong way round)and then programming the FMC works okay.AlanSystem:P4 2.66GhzRadeon 9500ProAsus P4G8X512Mb Corsair TwinX EXM32000
